THESE WICKED LITTLE THINGS WOULD LIKE TO EAT YOUR INSIDES By: SASHA SLAUGHTER

Hey hey hey!! What is going on you horror loving creepers?? Sasha Slaughter here with you for the final day of random stuff week. It's over already!!! Boo!!! But never fear, it'll be back again soon, I'm almost sure of it. So today I'll be reviewing a movie called Wicked Little Things. It was suggested to me by Zane, so it better be good!!! =).

Wicked Little Things was directed by J.S. Cardone (Who directed Prom Night, The Covenant, The Forsaken and many others). It was written by Boaz Davidson (Story) and Ben Nedivi (Screenplay). And here's a little fun fact, Tobe Hooper was originally chosen to direct Wicked Little Things, but he dropped out to direct Mortuary. Also, Cardone renamed the film to Wicked Little Things as it was originally titled Zombies. The movie is set in Pennsylvania (Hey, I know that place!) but was actually filmed in the mountains of Bulgaria. And one last tidbit of info for you, this film debuted as one of eight films that make up the horror movie festival 8 Films to Die for. So let's get on with the review huh??

 In 1913 in Carlton, Pennsylvania the cruel owner of Carlton mine exploited poor young children and made them explore the mines. After an explosion in the mine, a group of children were buried alive. 90 years later in the present day Karen Tunny has decided to move her and her two daughters, Sarah and Emma, into her husbands old house that she inherited when he died recently. The house she inherits is located close to the abandoned Carlton Mine.

 They get to the house and find what appears to be blood smeared on their front door. That night while in bed, Karen has a strange dream about a child from the mine that comes into the room and stabs her. Later the next day, Karen asks Sarah to get a few things in town. She meets a few kids her age and when she tells them where she lives, Shawn replies "Up where the fucking zombies are?".

Shortly after, Sarah leaves to get groceries and her little sister disappears into the woods. Karen is in the basement with the plumber when she hears noises and goes upstairs to find Emma missing. Karen searches the woods and eventually finds Emma standing in front of the abandoned Carlton Mine. Karen makes her promise to never go there again and when they try to find their way home, they get lost.

They find a house in the woods and go inside. Mr. Hanks appears a few moments later and tells them that they shouldn't be outside at night and tells Emma not to go near the mines anymore. He tells them the way to get home and tells her not thanks necessary for the blood on her door. She begins to tell him not to do it anymore but he tells them that they need to get home right away and to come back in the day time and they'll talk.

Later that night when Emma is in bed and Sarah is out with her friends, Karen goes into the basement to read the articles she found about the Carlton Mine explosion. Outside she can hear voices and whispering. The children that were killed in the mine explosion are outside of her house but when they smell the blood on the door they turn around and leave. Karen goes upstairs but doesn't see anything except her front door hanging open. That night Mr. Hanks is at the old Carlton mansion with a pig that he sacrifices for the cannibalistic children so they leave him alone.

When Sarah arrives home her mother shows her old family albums and pictures of her father and his family. She tells Sarah that she had no idea he had family in Pennsylvania because when she tried to talk about he would change the subject. She says it's as if he kept the family a secret. The next day while looking for a plumber Karen runs into William Carlton at the store. The owner of the store tells her that he's there to survey the land because he wants to tear down the Carlton mansion and built a ski resort.                                                                 

                                                                                         
The zombie-like children continue to kill and the community dismisses it as simple disappearances. Although it is hinted that most of the community is well aware of the presence of the "children". Karen sees Emma standing at the edge of the woods when she hears voices. She goes into the woods to investigate and sees cars at the old Carlton mansion. She goes inside looking for William Carlton. He finds her in one of the rooms and tells her to get off of his property. She informs that she lives just down the road and he asks if she is the Tunny widow.

She says yes and tells her that she has 2 weeks to vacate the land because he owns it. She says she has a deed and he tells her that it's a miners deed and it doesn't mean anything. Karen goes to talk to Mr. Hanks and he confirms that Carlton owns all of the land. He tells her the only way for her to own the house is if Carlton dies, and then the miners deed kicks in. Later that night while Sarah is with her friends Karen discovers a photo album with pictures of the children that were killed in the mine explosion. She recognizes two of the children named Ryan and Mary Tunny and realizes that they are related to her late husband.

While Sarah and her friends are parked on a road drinking and talking, the zombie children find their car. At first the car is rocked back and forth. Shawn gets out to see what is happening when he's dragged away from the car. Tim gets in the drivers seat and tries to leave, but the car gets stuck in the mud. He gets out and tries to push it when some of the zombie children attack and kill him.

                                                                         
They break the car windows and take Sarah's friend Lisa and they try to take Sarah. She gets the car unstuck and drives back her house. She tells her mom that the children are real and that they killed her friends. They both realize that Emma is missing and Karen says that she is probably at the mine again. They go looking for her in the mine but can't find her. As they come out of the mine, they are surrounded by children.

Karen tells Sarah to run and they take off into the woods. They run onto the road and find a car and get in. When they get into the car they realize it's William Carlton. She tells them to drive or the children will kill them. Just as she says this the tires are flattened before they can pull away. Karen and Sarah get out and run to Mr. Hanks house.

Carlton arrives at Mr. Hanks shortly after Karen and Sarah and they let him in. The children start trying to break into the house. Hanks and Carlton try shooting the children and find that it's ineffective. Hanks, Sarah, and Karen get in a truck and try to escape, but when it won't start they run into the barn. They go in the barn to find that Carlton is in there also hiding from the children.

 Hank suddenly realizes he and Emma are direct blood relatives, and it turns out that Mary has an older brother who was also a Tunny, and Karen is in some way protected by Emma's relationship with Mary. Just as the children break into the barn he tells them not to move because he doesn't know what they'll do. It's then that he realizes that it's Carlton they are after because they are looking for revenge because his family caused the mining accident that killed them. The children find Carlton in the barn and kill him. Karen hears Emma calling for her outside and she goes to her. Emma tells her that the children won't hurt anyone anymore and then.......

And then???? Well if you want to know maybe you should hop on over to Netflix and watch Wicked Little Things. Ya know, I kind of liked this movie. And the only reason I liked it is because of those creepy little black eyed, blood smeared, cannibalistic zombie children. RAWR!! Ya'll know I love me some zombies!!

I mean granted it does have a good bit of the usual cliches that a lot of horror movies have (Cell phones don't work, fumbling/dropping the keys, tripping and falling while running and proceeding to say you can't run anymore, dying flashlight, youngest kid befriends ghost and everyone chalks it up to an imaginary friend). It's got the whole shebang of typical things that happen in horror films. But it's all gravy baby!! That doesn't mean that it's not good! The acting was great, there was a good bit of blood thanks to the zombie children for eating a poor innocent piggy and chomping on a few peoples insides.

Overall I'd give Wicked Little Things a 3 out of 5. Yeah, you've seen movies like this before yadda yadda, but they're still good. The plot was great and the zombie children were hella creepy! I mean their black eyes and how they gnawed on peoples insides, they were mean little kiddies! What I didn't like was the a lot of the movie was dark. Yeah, I guess some of it was for effect but yeesh, lighten up! =) Now you know my thoughts about that, now you can go check out Zombie Zane's stuff. He wants you to look at it! IF IT SMELLS LIKE FISH, EAT ALL YOU WISH By: ZOMBIE 'TUNA' ZANE

Heya Dead End Horror Fans that look like Abe Lincoln and wear night vision goggles to spy on your neighbors! What’s good? Anyway, this post was supposed to come out last Friday, but as I said in yesterday’s post I was busy watching football and playing ESPN’s SFTC. (Streak for the Cash) What can I say? I have an addictive behavior.  But that’s another story for another day.

                                                              

                                                                               
But as far as today is concerned, I’m gonna be giving you my take on the movie, “Piranha 3D.” Have you seen this one yet? Fuck me! This thing is full of blood, boobs, and a shitload of cool fuckin’ actors. So, let’s stop the foreplay and get to today’s shit, yes?

“Piranha 3D” is a 2010 horror movie (and second remake) of the 1978 version. This one was directed by Alexandre Aja and was released in August of 2010. after you read this, you’re gonna wanna give this movie a look-see. Fuckin’ trust me. I’m a professional. You’ll fuckin’ love it.

                                                                  
Anyway, this move not only has a ton of gore and boobs, it also has a ton of cool fuckin actors in it. (Have I said fuck a lot?) Ving Rhames, Elisabeth Shue, Eli Roth, Richard Dreyfuss, Christopher Lloyd, and of course, Riley Steele. I mean this bastard is loaded! And by the way, if you don’t know who any of these actors are, fuck off outta here. I mean for real. Anywho, let’s got to the plot, yes?                                                                 

                                                                                     
THE PLOT: A whole shitload of man eating piranha are released form their underwater den after this earthquake splits open the bottom of Lake Havasu. Now all this is goes on during spring break. So what ya got now is a bunch of spring break people at a lake that’s loaded with these hungry little motherfuckers. Talk about a recipe for disaster right? And oh yeah, throw in a wet t-shirt contest hosted by Eli Roth, and you got some major fuckin’ carnage, boss.

                                                                
Now this is kinda a spoof of ‘Jaws.’ Ya got a mutilated body found by the town’s sheriff. (Shue) Ya got the sheriff wanting to close the lake due to the piranha-eaten body. But she can’t.  She can’t because the small town needs the revenue of the 20,000+ spring breakers who plan on spending the week there. See where I’m going with this? So, yeah, it’s like ‘Jaws,’ but it’s different. Fuckin’ Jaws’ is iconic and more serious. This is just a bloody, boob filled good time.      

                                                                                  
I gotta tell ya, I give this thing a solid 4.75 out of 5. I loved it! Fucking loved it! The cast, the music, the gore, the nekkidness. (and yes, I can spell the word nakedness) I just overall loved the hell out of this film. This is a must own for your horror collection. Seriously.

And by the way, I also heard that a sequel to this film is due out as well. “Piranha 3DD.” Now I hate fuckin’ sequels, but if the sequel is anything like this, I’m gonna be all about it. We’ll just have to wait and see.  I’ll keep you posted. And I think That Gary Busey is supposed to be in it so that’ll give it some cool points.

SPANK IT! SPANK THAT MONKEY! By: SASHA 'Spank me' SLAUGHTER

Hi there!! Sasha Slaughter here with you for the final day of man vs beast week!! I know, it's over already! What a shame!! NOT! =) Man vs beast is definitely not my thing, but I made it. Anyway, I'll be reviewing the movie Blood Monkey. It came out in 2007 and was directed by Robert M. Young. It's a foreign B-horror movie and it runs about 88 minutes. And, on a side note, it stars F.Murray Abraham (Anyone remember him from Scarface or Thir13en Ghosts??)

                                                                     
When six graduate students arrive in Africa to study the continents resident apes, things start getting deadly. They are accompanied by renowned Professor Hamilton. The students believe it's the chance of a lifetime, but quickly realize it's a life or death situation. As the chimps of the jungle start killing the students one by one, the survivors begin to wonder if they'll ever make it out alive.

The movie begins with three men setting a trap in the jungle. One of the men radios Hamilton to tell him that they caught something. Hamilton and Chenne, (His evil Chinese sidekick) go to the jungle to see what the men have found. They hear screaming noises and go to find that the ape has escaped and killed two of the men. Six college students are on the way to the jungle to study the apes with Professor Hamilton and another group. They are driven just short of their destination and dropped off. The driver tells him he won't go any further because there are bad things in jungle. They follow the trail when it suddenly stops. They decide to stay where they are until someone finds them. As night falls they begin to hear strange noises coming from the jungle. They hear something in the bush directly in front of them. Seth, one of the students, takes a camcorder and uses night vision and sees a pair of glowing eyes in the bush. Just then a little Chinese chick appears and throws a flare into the bush and the thing runs away.

                                                       
She tells them to follow her. They reach camp shortly after and settle in for the night. The following morning Hamilton comes into their tent and tells them that they are going exploring into undiscovered territory in the jungle where no one else has ever been. Before leaving they realize their cell phones and personal items have been stolen. Chenne comes out with a bag and says that she took everything. Hamilton tells them that he doesn't want to risk anything pertaining to their journey being leaked to the public. He takes them exploring in the jungle and asks them to climb down what he calls "Hamilton's Crater". When asked if he's ever been there before he hesitates and steals a glance at Chenne before telling them no. They continue exploring when they come to an area where there are tents set up. They begin to question Hamilton about them supposedly being the first ones there and then ask where the other group of people are that were supposed to be with them. He denies that there were supposed to be others and admits that he and Chenne have been in the valley before. They question him about the extra backpacks and he tells them they'll talk about it later before disappearing into a tent.

A few hours later Hamilton returns holding a skull. He passes it around to the students and asks them if they know what it is. None of them recognize it and he tells them that the creature it belongs to isn't extinct and exists in the jungle. Suddenly one of the men that tried to trap an ape before the students got there appears at camp all bloody and unable to speak. Hamilton takes him into a tent with Chenne and closes the tent so the students can't see in. They begin talking and wondering why Hamilton has them there if he's so protective of the species that he's searching for. They admit that they all feel like hostages and some of the students are considering leaving the following day. Later that night while Sidney is in the makeshift bathroom she hears noises next to her. She stands up and gets grabbed by the ankles and dragged away. That morning Seth asks Hamilton if he spoke to Sidney. He tells her that Sidney came to him and said that she wanted to go home so Chenne went with her to show her the way out of the jungle. Hamilton then tells him that they will be continuing their journey and to get the others ready.

                                                                    
Seth tells the others that they are going into uncharted territory and to get ready. They begin to suspect that something happened to Sidney but don't question her leaving. Nearby Chenne is dragging Sidney through the woods and then kicks her into the river leaves her there. Sidney climbs out and finds the trap that the men used to try and trap an ape. She climbs into it and moments later is face to face with one of the apes. It swipes its paw across her face and rips half of it off. Chenne arrives with the rest of the group shortly after and they ask Hamilton about Sidney and he quickly changes the subject. The students are getting suspicious and make a plan to steal Chenne's gun in the middle of the night and try to escape. They all agree that Hamilton isn't interested in the land they're on, but he's interested in whatever is living on it.

They stop to set up camp when Seth finds Sidney's necklace on the ground. Later that night they start hearing noises at camp. Greg tells Hamilton that he needs to start talking and explain himself. Hamilton tells them that he has discovered a new species that has been in Africa for years. He tells them that instead of them going to apes, he wants the apes to come to them. He says that he picked them because they wont want to share in the glory of finding a new species because they'll never be able to outshine him. Later on they start to make plans to take the gun. They are in their tents waiting for the right moment when it begins to rain, or so they think it's rain. After the "rain" stops Greg realizes that it wasn't rain, it was ape urine and he tells Dani and Josh that some animals piss on their prey before killing it. Just then Josh gets dragged out of the tent and into the jungle.

 They all follow Josh's screams through the jungle while Hamilton and Chenne try to hunt and kill one of the apes. Chenne shoots Greg while he's looking for Josh and ties him to a tree with his belt as bait for the apes. She lies on the ground and waits for them to find Greg so she can kill them. While waiting she keeps hearing noises behind her. When she looks at her watch she sees the reflection of one of the apes in it right before it kills her. (bye-bye evil Chinese bitch!). They then attack and kill Greg, who is still tied to the tree. Hamilton hears the commotion and finds Chenne's lifeless body on the ground. Seth comes up behind and him and accuses Hamilton of using them as bait and knowing that the land was dangerous before he brought them there. He threatens to tell everyone what Hamilton has done before Hamilton hits him and knocks him out.

He uses the GPS he put in the bracelets he made everyone wear to find Dani and Amy. He finds them hiding and tells them that everyone is dead and they are going to continue their search. He tells Dani to record him explaining that the group had been attacked by the apes and he says they'll continue the following day. He uses the GPS to try and find Sidney, thinking it will lead him right to the apes. He finds Sidney's arm hanging from a tree. He pulls the arm and something comes out of a tree and impales him. He tells Dani and Amy that the apes set the trap and then dies. Seth finds Dani and Amy and tells them they have get out of there. They run to where camp was set up but quickly realize that everything was gone. They keep running for a while before realizing that Dani disappeared. They look into the tree above and see her body dangling from a tree. They begin to run and find a cave and run into it to hide. They think they see Josh's light and run to find him. They use the night vision on the camcorder to find their way around when they realize that the cave is where the apes live. They start hearing growling noises and then....

                                            
What happens to the last two survivors? If you wanna know, then give Blood Monkey a watch!! Now then, it's time for me to ramble. Mmm...I don't really think I liked this movie very much. For one thing, the title was awfully misleading. Blood Monkey?? Well where the hell was blood and the monkeys? I mean, there was a decent amount of blood and some severed limbs, and a chick getting part of her face ripped off, but I thought there would be a bit more blood. And the monkeys? Where were they? I mean, you saw shadows in the jungle and shit, but the actual apes didn't even make an appearance until the last few minutes of the movie. Some scenes were shot kinda like you were seeing through the apes eyes and seeing what they saw. I wanted to see some big, murderous apes man!! I mean yeah, it was CGI and all, but still. When they did show the apes at the end they were hela creepy with their big fangs dripping with blood. They should have been in the movie the whole time.

The acting was sub par at best and a little over top at times. And that Chinese wench Chenne got on my nerves! She was so damn evil. I would have messed that bitch all up. Seriously! I was glad when that biotch got offed. And the professor was evil too, leading those poor college students to their demise! What a prick! Overall I'd give Blood Monkey a 3 out of 5. It sort of kept my interest throughout, but at times I was bored. It wasn't horrible but it was great either. You can definitely tell it was a B-horror creature feature, that's for sure. But nonetheless, it was a decent film. Now that you know how I feel about that, how about you go check out what Zombie Zane has going on. He'll gladly show you what he's got! DRUNK & DEBAUCHEROUS BEHAVIORS...By: ZOMBIE ZANE

What’s good horror fans that love our shit and can’t wait to read more? Hope all had a very safe and debauchery filled Labor Day. I know here at Dead End Horror it was nothing but beer, vodka, mucho illegal substances and of course group sex.  That’s how we do here at The Horror. Sasha is such a bad influence on all of us.                                                      

                                                                  
Now before I get in today’s post, I gotta clear the air for a second.  It came to my attention that someone who reads this blog has been doing a bit of shit talking about your buddy Zombie Zane.  So, person who will remain nameless, one thing I gotta say...I’m gonna be dialing direct and  I may fuck around and use some foul and offensive language. So without further ado, this FUCK YOU is for you. Keep your stupid mouth shut you shit talking, down on all fours everynight, cocksucking, washed out hag.  Choke on it you stupid cunt! Choke on it!  You don't know me.  So keep your opinions and retarded comments to your fuckin' self.  Walk in my shoes, or get to know me first before you start runnin' that ignorant, cum receptacle, that you call a mouth.

Now then, where was I? Oh yeah, today’s post. Today’s post is gonna be kinda a bit different. As you can tell from the above paragraph.  Sorry, I tend to wig.  In any case, today’s post is basically just gonna be a rundown of what we're gonna be doing this week at D.E.H. 

So here’s what we got on the docket for this week...This week is all about man versus beast.  This will totally be MAN vs. BEAST WEEK!! Hell to the yeah! Monster movies are fuckin’cool, yo! Anyway, the incredibly busty Sasha Slaughter will be giving her take on “Assault of the Sasquatch,” and “Blood Monkey.” Two pretty good man vs. beast films. So be sure and give her stuff a once over.  Or maybe a twice over.  She likes when you look at her stuff.  She does...trust me. I'm a professional.

As for me, your buddy Zombie Zane, I’m gonna be giving you a top five, or maybe a top ten list of some of the best man vs. beast type of films.  I’ll throw in my take on the film, “Grizzly Park,” and just for shits and giggles I’ll  educate you sheep on the movie, “The Breed.”

So we got bears, wild canines, and fuckin’ Sasquatch.  Add some killer apes to the mix and all in all not a bad week.  Not a bad week at all. On our worst day, our better is always, ALWAYS better than the other horror blogs better.

ARE YOU GONNA LET ME IN OR WHAT? BY: ZOMBIE ZANE

Yo! Yo! Yo! Coming at ya live and direct from the motherfuckin seven six one oh seven. What’s good horror fans that sit up late at night and drink blood while doing your laundry. Well the weekend is over and I guess that means I gotta get back to work. Boo! Anyway, since today’s post is gonna be a bit longer, I’m gonna skip the foreplay and get right to it. So grab some KY and let’s go.

What I got for ya today, is a kinda a comparison type of article. What I’m gonna be doing is comparing two films. One is a remake and the other is the original. One was made here in the USA, the other is of the Swedish persuasion.  I’m talking about, “Let Me In,” and “Let the Right One In.”

Ok, now as a general rule, most of the foreign horror films that are remade over here are pieces of shit compared to the original. But then again, aren’t most remakes pieces of shit? A few examples...”REC” is a 2007 Spanish horror film that kicked some serious ass! But the remake, 2008's “Quarantine,” eh, not so good. I know that everybody remembers, “The Ring.” But did you guys see the Japanese version directed by Hideo Nakata? Nakata’s film was WAY better! As I’ve come to learn, foreign horror movies are just better. Bottom line, foreign horror films kick our ass. And such is the case between “Let Me In” and “Let the Right One In.”

Now let’s get to the tale of the tape...

As you can see, I ranked “Let the Right One In” like two and a quarter points higher. And I’m a professional so...Anyway, the plot for both films are the same. They both revolve around a bullied young boy who befriends a ‘young’ vampire. They both take place in the 1980's and they both have that romantic dynamic between the boy and the vampire. Basically the remake sticks to the original. Almost too much. It was shot pretty much scene for scene and for that it loses some points. If you’re gonna remake something, fuckin’ put your own twist on it. Don’t give me some regurgitated shit. C’mon boss. I would’ve really liked to see another director take a shot at remaking this film. Like Rob Zombie maybe. He would’ve done it better.

I also thought that in the Swedish version, the love dynamic between vampire and boy was portrayed a bit better. It was a bit more moving for me. The expressions of the actors, the way they acted with one another, I just thought that the kids in the foreign film did a better job. Plus, in the foreign film, they did a better job of explaining the whole ...”What if I’m not a girl” line. In the American version, we are led to believe that when Abby says that line she is referring to her being a vampire rather than a little girl. But in the foreign version, they actually show you what she means by that line. Now I won’t spoil it for those that haven’t seen it, but trust me, it does make a difference. It was a total jaw dropping moment. I was actually like, “Whoaaa.” And believe me, I don’t drop jaw that often.

Now as far as the score goes, both films did a good job with that. I thought the score was awesome for both. Both used some beautiful music. But I’d have to give the edge to the foreign version. On second thought, it was kinda neat to hear some 80's tunes in the American version. So I guess all in all, I’ll go ahead and give the score/soundtrack part a tie between the two movies.

I also thought that some of the bullying scenes were a little bit harsher in the USA version. The whole atomic wedgie/pants pissing scene was pretty rough. Poor Owen. Now don’t get me wrong, the bullying scenes in the foreign film were good too, but the American version did a little bit better job in some instances.

I guess the best way I can convey my point is this. The original version of the film is like hearing a song by Elvis, or by whatever band you think is awesome. And the USA remake is kinda like hearing that same song by another band that is just okay. I mean both songs are good, but one is obviously far superior than the other one. So my advise, for what it’s worth, I would watch the 2008 Swedish version first. And then watch the made in the USA one. I mean that’s how I did it and I’m damn glad I saw the original first.  In fact, the original one is like one of the best vampire movies I’ve ever seen. And brother, (or sister) I’ve seen a lot.

BEWARE THE FAIR HAIRED CHILD By: SASHA SLAUGHTER

Hey hey hey!! Sasha Slaughter here with you for another mind blowing week of pure talent and awesomeness...can you handle it?? =) This is the last week of random hodgepodge stuff (Boo! After this Zane gets to boss me!) and I'll be reviewing Masters of Horror episode 9: The Fair Haired Child. It was written by Mick Garris and directed by William Malone (Who happened to direct Feardotcom and House on Haunted Hill).

Young loner Tara is on her way home from a day of being tortured at school when she notices a van following her. While riding her bike through the woods she feels like someone is following her and just then a van runs into her. A man (Anton) emerges from the van, drugs Tara and tosses her in the back. Tara wakes up hours later, her mind hazy and a little confused. She sees a woman (Judith) sitting in the room with her. The woman says that she is a nurse and that Tara was found on the side of the road drugged. She then tells her that she is in Vermont and Tara starts freaking out and telling her that she's from Connecticut and doesn't understand what she's doing there.

Tara tells her she needs to call her mom and the woman says it's OK. Tara reaches her mom but her mom is too wasted to help. When Tara realizes the woman calling her by her name without telling her what it was, she freaks out and tries to leave. She yells out the window for help and notices she isn't in a hospital, but she's in someones home. The man from the van runs into Tara and grabs and he and his wife throw her into the basement. Tara hears noises in the basement and sees a teenage boy trying to hang himself. Tara helps him and gets the rope off of his neck. She quickly understands that he can't speak so he writes her messages in the dust of the basement floor. They begin looking for a way out when they see the words "Get out before it wakes up" scratched into a cabinet.                   

They then see a door with the words "Beware the fair haired child" carved into it. They open door and find a room full of backpacks from other children who had been kidnapped, a bathtub stained with blood and a cabinet full of skulls. Meanwhile, Judith and Anton are outside digging up a grave and taking body parts from a bag and putting them into a barrel of acid. (Idk how that's relevant to the story...whatever!) They are both having flashbacks of the drowning death of their fifteen year old son and the ritual they performed to have him brought back to life.

Back in the basement Johnny starts spazzing and writes "It's coming" in the dust on floor and then collapses. Tara screams that they killed him when his body starts convulsing and this creepy looking thing crawls out of Johnny's body. It begins chasing Tara and eventually finds her hiding in a furnace. She narrowly escapes the thing and gets away from it before it can harm her. Judith hears the commotion in the basement and says "Do what you have to do....so you can come back to me". Johnny wakes up and tries giving clues to Tara so she can figure out whats going on. She figures out that Johnny is actually Judith and Anton's son Jonathan and that they are trying to bring him back to life. He helps her figure out that they made a deal with a demon to kill twelve children every year on his birthday. He reveals to her that she is the last child they need to kill in order for him to come back to life.  

He writes "Please forgive me" on the wall in chalk when the room goes black and the screaming starts. Jonathan turns into the creepy thing and starts eating Tara's insides. His parents go down into the basement and find Jonathan all bloody with a note written by Tara in her own blood reading "I forgive you Johnny". They realize that he's OK and back to normal. Later that night he is sitting alone quietly when his parents ask him what he's doing. He replies that he is waiting for something. He gets up and tells them that he was always jealous of their musical abilities and that he realized he has a talent of his own. The talent for bargaining. His mother begins to ask him what he's done and then....

What exactly did little Johnny bargain for?? Guess you'll have to watch Fair Haired Child and see for yourself. Now onto what I thought!! Ya know, I actually kinda liked it! The plot was really good and so was the acting. There wasn't a whole lot of violence or anything, but it got the point across without needing any of that. There was a bit of blood but none of the three B's (Sorry pervs!!!). Overall I'd give Fair Haired Child a 3 out of a possible 5. I KNOW!! I enjoyed watching it and the ending surprised the hell outta me! And that little creepy thing crawling outta Johnny with it's jerky movements and it's glowing night vision eyes....YOWZA!! That was creepy with a capital C ya'll!!! It gave me the wiggins for sure! So, that's all you need to hear from me. DON'T FORGET TO SIGN YOUR CONTRACT TO START A BABY MILL!!! By: SASHA SLAUGHTER

It's really wet in this bitch!!! I'm talking about the rain you perverts!!! =) Hiii!! Sasha Slaughter here with you on this stormy grey day in PA (Hey that rhymed!). It's still random stuff hodgepodge mixed bag O shit month (And no Zane, you aren't changing it!) so in keeping with the theme I'll be reviewing the third episode of Fear Itself, it's titled "Community". Before I begin I'd just like to say that last week our standards were severely lowered due to Zanes "Horrors Best Chests" article. Ughh!!! Typical man...am I right?? So anyway, let's get to it!!!

Young couple Bobby and Tracy are living in a small, cramped apartment in a not so desirable part of town. Tracy is desperate to start a family and wants to get pregnant right away, but she refuses to raise a family in their current home. So they set out to find the perfect home to start a family in. Two close friends of theirs, married couple Scott and Merrill tell them about a place called The Commons. They tell Tracy and Bobby that it's a really exclusive place and when they told the realtor that they didn't plan on having anymore children they refused to give them a house. So Bobby and Tracy decided to go to The Commons and look at a house anyway.

They drive to a gate in a high class suburban neighborhood and are pleasantly surprised by how beautiful it is, although Bobby is skeptical. They are given a tour of the house by Candice, one of the more prominent members of The Commons. Tracy falls in love with the house instantly and is positive that this is where she wants to start a family. Bobby notices that all of the furniture from the previous owner is still in the home and Candice tells him the owner had to leave because of business. Bobby think it's a bit odd, but because Tracy wants the house, he ignores it. Two days later they get a call from Candice telling them that their application was accepted and they got the house. They go to sign papers and Candice tells them that are exactly the type of people they want in their community, which makes Bobby a bit uncomfortable.

They are greeted by a mob of seemingly perfect neighbors when they arrive to move in. Bobby is overwhelmed and has a strange feeling about the neighborhood but dismisses it. Months go by and strange things keep happening, but Tracy seems oblivious. Late one night while flipping through TV channels he comes across security tape of their neighbor undressing getting ready to cheat on her husband when her husband walks in and catches her. He recognizes the neighbor on the TV screen as their next door neighbors Ron and Sandra. Tracy tells him the follwing day that he was signed up for a community supprt meeting. He shows up only to see Ron and Sandra getting lectured because of Sandra's actions.

Candice tells her that her actions affect the whole community and it's up to Ron to decide her punishment for infidelity. The next day while Bobby is out shopping he sees Sanda tied to a post with a pig mask on having trash thrown at her while the townspeople call her names. She tells him that this was the punishment chosen and she accepts it. He takes the mask off of her and tells her she doesn't have to deal with this and everyone tells him to stay out of it. Later that night Candice arrives and tells Tracy and Bobby that she is concered that they haven't conceived yet. She said that if they read their contract correctly it states that if a child is not conceived within 6 months of moving in the house will be foreclosed on and they will be forced to leave The Commons (Really? Signing a contract to breed and open your very own baby mill?? Count me out).

Bobby asks his friend Scott to find the previous owner and talk to them to find out how they got out of the contract. Bobby tells him all of the strange rules and stipulations and about the security cameras in everyones house that show up on the TV. Scott calls back to tell him that there is no trace of the previous owner, and seems like he disappeared. He tells Bobby he needs to get Tracy and get out of there. He finds Tracy in the kitchen and she announces that she is pregnant and Bobby is devastated because now that she is pregnant they are being forced to stay in The Commons.

They go to the doctor the following day and see Sandra running around in the street yelling that someone is after her and then she gets hit by a car. No one seems concerned, saying that she jumped infront of the car because she was drunk and suicidal, which Bobby didn't believe. This scared Tracy so they came up with a plan to get out of The Commons. Tracy was with some friends when she pretended to faint and said she needed to go home and rest because of the baby. They snuck family friend Merrill into the house and snuck Tracy out. Merrill was disguised in a wig so she looked like Tracy on the security cameras in the bedroom. After a few days of not seeing Tracy everyone started getting suspicious. Candice showed up and saw Merrill and demanded to know where Tracy was. She tells Bobby that if he doesn't tell her where she is something unfortunate will happen to his friends and family.

They are questioning Bobby and he isn't cooperating so they drug him and he wakes up a few hours later on a couch. Phil, the neurotic neighbor from next door, comes over to make sure Bobby is ok and is staying in The Commons. Just then Phil pulls out a pair of scissors and tells Bobby that this is for him and then proceeds to stab Candice in the neck with the scissors. Bobby wakes up and runs into the woods to escape. The whole neighborhood comes outside with flashlights, shovels, and dogs to look for him. He runs up a hill and finds Scott and Tracy in a car waiting for him. Tracy gets out of the car and tells him that she is doing this for him and Scott says they are going to be neighbors now and then the townspeople come out of the woods and..                       

Ughhh! Somebody please check my pulse and make sure I'm still alive....I swear I may have died a little from complete and utter boredom!! BOO to this episode!!! I am totally disappointed. This episode sucked and the person that wrote it sucks. I was incredibly bored and could not wait for this shit to be over. That was 43 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Overall I'd give it a 1 out of 5. Yeahh! There was no blood (except for a few drops when the blonde bitch got stabbed), no gore, no nekkidness (No boobs, butt, or bush), no swearing...no nothing at all.I mean, horror stuff doesn't necessarily have to have all of those things to be good, but sweet Jesus put some blood and guts in there please!! It was a total snooze fest and I am so glad I never have to watch it again! Ok, so thats that. Since you're here wasting time, how about you waste some time and read Zanes stuff too!! He likes it when you look at his stuff. Trust me. =)

THE INSIDIOUS SASHA SLAUGHTER By: SASHA SLAUGHTER

Oh oh oh oh...oh hi there!!! Glad you stopped by Dead End Horror to get your mind blown by how damn good we are! Sasha Slaughter here with you yet again to bring your more randomness in honor of mixed bag O shit month. I'm gonna be going a little new school on your asses today. And I mean NEW NEW school. Ever hear of the film Insidious? Yes? No? Well I'll be reviewing that for you today. Insidious was released in the US on April 1, 2011. It was written by Leigh Whannell and directed by James Wan (The same guy that brought us Saw and Paranormal Activity). It runs a little over an hour and a half long, it was rated PG-13 and is a suspense/thriller. And heres a fact for you, the budget for this film was $1.5 and it grossed $91,923,029...WOW!!

Renai and Josh Lambert recently moved into a new home with their three children Dalton, Foster, and Callie. Renai and Dalton are going through an old picture album when he asks why there are no pictures of his father, Renai tells him that he doesn't like to have his picture taken. Foster comes downstairs and tells Renai that he is scared of his new room and asks if he can have a new one. Renai thinks nothing of it and tells him it will be fine. Later that evening Dalton hears something in the attic and goes to investigate. He sees what is referred to as the "Lipstick Demon" *signified by bones cracking* and falls off of the ladder he was on. His parents rush to attic and take Dalton to his room. The following morning Josh tries to wake Dalton for school when he realizes Dalton won't wake up. They take him to hospital and the doctor tells them that Dalton is in some sort of coma.

After three months of being a coma, Josh and Renai decide to bring Dalton home so they can care for him. While Renai is playing the piano, she hears some whispering on the baby monitor and someone yelling "I want it now" and then the baby starts to cry. She goes upstairs and doesn't see anyone but the baby is visibly shaken. More disturbing events occur and Renai suggests to Josh that the house may be haunted. At first he doesn't believe her and then she showed him the sheets from Dalton's bed with a bloody hand print on them. Later on that night Renai is almost attacked in the bedroom which repeatedly triggers the alarm in the house. Josh runs upstairs and can't find anyone in the house but Renai insists that there a man there. Renai begs them to move out of the house and Josh finally agrees.

Upon moving into their new home, new and increasingly violent things begin happening. While doing chores Renai sees little English boys running up and down the hall giggling and hiding in Dalton's room. Josh's mother Lorraine, believes the things that Renai is seeing and calls on her longtime friend/psychic Elise Reiner. Elise shows up at the Lambert home with two of her assistants and asks to do a walk through. They enter Dalton's room where Elise asks that the lights stay off. She appears to see something on the ceiling and is describing the thing to an assistant as he draws it. Renai grabs the sketch pad from the assistant and sees that he drew a demonic looking figure with a red face, yellow eyes, claw-like fingernails and hooves.

Elise then explains to the Lambert's that Dalton has the supernatural ability of astral projection. She tells them that this means he can wander around the parallel spirit world. She then tells them that Dalton has wandered to far away from his physical body to a place she calls "The Further" and he can't find his way back. She says that Dalton is interacting with other lost souls of the dead and also demons, because he believes he is dreaming and thinks he can't get hurt. She reveals to him that Dalton's astral projection has attracted the powerful demon in the drawing. She tells Josh and Renai that the demon lured Dalton in "The Further" in hopes of taking over Dalton's physical body. Josh is skeptical until he sees drawings of the demon that Dalton had made before his coma three months earlier.

Josh finally agrees to let Elise come back and help them get Dalton before it's too late. Upon returning to the home Lorraine and Elise reveal to Josh that he is also able to astral project and that's how Dalton got his ability. Elise tells him that when he was younger the spirit of a malevolent old woman befriended his astral projection and attached herself to him in hopes of taking over his body. Elise suggests that Josh once again astral projects to go into "The Further" to free Dalton's soul. Josh agrees and Elise instructs him on what to do. He finds himself in a black abyss where he meets his childhood self. Without speaking, the young Josh points him in the direction of the house. Josh searches the house for his son and along the way meets several other demons and lost souls. He finally finds Dalton chained in a room behind a red door that Josh had seen in one of Dalton's drawings. He enters the room and frees Dalton. They notice the demon watching them as they run out of the house to find their physical bodies before it's too late.

Dun dun dun!!! WOW! I actually really liked this movie. I mean, it was rated PG-13...whatever! So there was none of the 3 B'S, no cussing *OK maybe like 3 cuss words* and barely any blood, who cares! I'll admit, this creeped me out hardcore. I love horror and I love being freaked out by movies, unfortunately this rarely happens. Insidious did it for me! It creeped the bejesus out of me! The demons and lost souls where AMAZING! They looked so real and just scary. I had someone tell me this movie was bad and it looked fake...WTF were they watching?? And WTF do they know, besides theft of Mexican food?? This movie was pretty good if you ask me. Overall I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5...YEAHH!! The lack of blood, gore, and sex was whatever. This movie didn't need any of that to be good. The plot was great, the acting was amazingly believable and I'm telling you, the demons and lost souls were hella creepy. After the movie I found myself a little jumpy when I was in the dark. I haven't had a movie do that to me in a long ass time. And while you're here, how about you gives Zane's articles a peek too!! He's just as awesome as me, so I know you'll like it. And thanks for stopping by!
