Hello Dead End Horror fans that are noted apple turnovers. What’s good? Okay, so as you may have noticed, Sasha and I haven’t posted anything new in a while. Not to worry. We’ll be back in the swing of things starting next Monday. 

In the meantime, feel free to go look at some of our older shit. I’m sure you’ll find plenty of boobs, blood and whatever else you are seeking. This is just a temporary setback and we appreciate your understanding.

I THINK WE'RE GONNA NEED THE GHOSTBUSTERS FOR THIS ONE! By: SASHA SLAUGHTER

Well hello again creeps!! So nice of you to stop by! Sasha Slaughter here with you for day 2 of my haunted house themed movies. Today I'm gonna go a little old school on your candy asses. I'll be reviewing, “The Legend of Hell House.” It was released in 1973 and runs about 95 minutes. The novel and the screenplay were written by Richard Matheson and it was directed by John Hough.

“The Legend of Hell House” is a British Horror film, but in the original novel the story took place in Maine and the investigative team was made up of Americans. And here is a little info for you, a few scenes from the film were parodied by Scary Movie 2. Those scenes included the part where the main character Cindy is attacked by a cat and when the character named Alex has sex with a ghost. You learn something new everyday! So let's get it! 

When physicist Lionel Barrett is enlisted by the eccentric millionaire Mr. Deutsch to explore the Belasco house and prove that there is life after death, he and his team discover more than just that. Mr. Deutsch asks Barrett to go to the Belasco house where Mr. Deutsch says "It is the one place where life after death has yet to be refuted". He tells Barrett he will give him one week in the Belasco house to prove that there is indeed life after death.

The house was owned by the notorious so called "Roaring Giant" Emeric Belasco, the six-foot-five perverted millionaire (who participated in masochism and necrophilia, among other things) and supposed murderer who disappeared after a massacre in his home. The house is believed to be haunted by many spirits, some being the victims of Belasco's twisted and sick desires.

Accompanying Barrett, are his wife Ann as well as two mediums: a mental medium named Florence Tanner and physical medium, Ben Fischer, who is the sole survivor of an investigation 20 years ago. Barrett, being a rationalist, is skeptical of Tanner's Christian faith and spiritual beliefs, insisting that there is nothing but unfocused electromagnetic energy throughout the house. Barrett brings along a machine that he has developed to rid the house of any paranormal force. 

During a sitting that evening, Florence, being a mental medium, begins to show signs of physical phenomena during her trance. Later that evening after a fight with Barrett about his skepticism about her, Barrett blames Florence when he is attacked by seemingly invisible forces and accuses her of using the houses energy against him. Meanwhile Ben Fischer remains totally aloof to the things happening around him, trying to keep his mind closed to the houses influence, and only being there to collect the generous pay they were offered to go to the house.

While lying in bed, Ann, Barret's wife, starts seeing erotic shadows of a statue on the ceiling. She gets up to get a drink and sees a book about erotic visions. Shortly after she goes downstairs in a trance and takes off her clothes in front of Fishcher and demands sex from him. He strikes her in the face (a guy turning down sex??? what?) and she snaps out of her trance.

She returns to herself, horrified and embarrassed and runs up the stairs. Another incident occurs two days later, although this time she is fully awake but she is drunk. She places Fishcher's hand on her chest and demands that he touch her, and then she realizes her husband is watching from the stairs. Barrett is angry and tells Fishcher that he believes that he no longer has any psychic ability and that Mr. Deutsch is wasting a third of his money on him. Fischer is offended by the accusation and later that night he drops his psychic shields only to be attacked and left writhing on the floor in agony.

Florence is convinced that one of the "surviving personalities" of the house is Belacso's son Daniel and is determined to prove it at all costs. She is led to a room in the basement where she finds a skeleton chained to a wall and believes it to be the body of Daniel Belasco. They bury the body outside and Florence performs a funeral. Despite being buried, Daniel's personality continues to haunt Florence: she is scratched violently by a possessed cat and Barrett, upon seeing the scratches, is convinced that they were self inflicted by Florence.

Later that night, in an attempt to put the supposed soul of Daniel to rest, Florence gives herself to the entity sexually (ghost sex!!!). Shortly after it appears as though Florence has been possessed by Daniel himself and starts acting strangely, although the possession is shortly lived. Fischer tells Barrett that he is taking Florence away from the house because it is going to kill everyone if they don't get out. Barrett tells him he can leave, but Fischer says he will stay because he was the only survivor 20 years ago and he will be the only survivor again.

Barett tells Fischer and Florence about the machine he has constructed to eliminate all paranormal forces. Florence attempts to destroy the machine thinking that it will harm the spirits in the house. She is quickly stopped and knocked out by Barrett. Barrett notes that there wasn't any damage done to the machine and is busy getting it ready when Florence wakes up and makes her way to the chapel, the unholy heart of the Belasco house.

She attempts to warn the spirits about the machine when a crucifix falls on her, crushing and killing her. In her last dying moments, she writes a clue in blood, the true source of the haunting, which she now knows. Meanwhile, Barrett activates the machine and he, Ann, and Fischer leave the house for a few moments while the machine does what he has built it to do. They return a few minutes later and while Fishcher is using his psychic abilities to search the house, he finally exclaims that the house is clear of all spirits.

Shortly after, while Ann and Fishcher are resting, violent psychic activity resumes and Barrett is eventually killed in the chapel. Ann hears strange noises and goes to find her husbands body in the chapel, crushed by a chandelier. Fishcher tells her that he is going to confront the house and she goes with him. In the chapel, a confrontation ensues: thanks to clues from the way that Florence, Barrett, and many others died in the house, Fischer realizes that Belasco is the sole identity that is haunting the house and is masquerading as many others. He taunts Belasco, calling him a "funny little dried up bastard" who fooled everyone about his..........

Well then, what was that dastardly little ghostie fooling everyone about?? If you really wanna know, go watch The Legend of Hell House. So this movie was from 1973 and I'm more a new school person, but I actually really liked this film.

The special effects I thought were pretty decent for being made in the 70's. The acting was pretty good also and I thought the plot was actually really good too. I mean, we've all seen haunted house movies, but this one was probably one of the better ones I've seen.

It kind of took a while to get good and parts of it were really slow, but it was worth the wait. There was a genuine creepiness to it that I really enjoyed. There was some semi-nudity (the girl was naked and it was dark in the room, so there wasn't much to see) and some sexual situations, like when the Christian girl was givin it to the ghostie...isn't that maybe borderline necrophilia...since the ghost is dead?? I don't know!!!

I read somewhere that there were some scenes missing in the Netflix version of the movie, and I'm thinking that may be true. Some of the scenes didn't really make sense and when I read what scenes were missing, only then did they make sense. Regardless if there missing scenes or not (Boo to Netflix if there were!) this was a pretty good movie.

Overall I'd give Legend of Hell House a solid 3.5 out of 5. It took a while to get going, and the music during the movie was awfully annoying. Another good thing about this movie is that it didn't rely on CGI to make it creepy. It just used old fashioned good acting, good lighting, and good writing. I would definitely watch this movie again in the future, probably several more times.

OH NO!! ZOMBIE ZANE'S HAUNTED DINGUS IS IN MY HOUSE! By: SASHA SLAUGHTER

Hey there guys and ghouls! It's October and here at Dead End Horror we'll be bringing you spooktacular things all month long!! Speaking of spooky, this week I'll be reviewing some haunted house themed movies...yay! So lets go explore some things that go bump in the night with my first review of the movie, “Hallettsville.”  *The movie actually takes place in Hallettsville, Texas for those of you who don't know*

The movie was written and directed by Andrew Pozza and it was based on a story by Derek Lee Nixon, who stars in the movie as Tyler Jensen. “Hallettsville” came out in March of ‘09 and also stars a little actor you may have heard of named Gary Busey. In my opinion he's a total creeper and he freaks me out, but whatev. So let's do this!!

The movie begins in 1901 in the town of Hallettsville, Texas. A school house full of kids are slaughtered by their teacher. Fast forward to the present day at a funeral for Hannah Myers, Tyler Jensen's grandmother. He is remembering her as she was when she was alive. While the minister is talking he is having strange flashbacks of her telling Tyler as a child that "it ends with you".

After the ceremony he meets up with his old high school friends and thanks them for showing up to support him. Later that day he is talking to his mom when he finds a folder with a deed to house in it. He asks his mother why they can't keep his grandmothers ranch and she tells him the property taxes would be too high and then she tells him she has bad memories from there as she has a flashback of finding her big brother dying in the grass.

He falls asleep and has a dream about a demon being in his room as a child. He is awakened by his ex girlfriend April coming into his room. She tells him that she wants to talk about their relationship and about taking her back. He tells her no and she leaves. The next day he asks his mom if he can use the ranch for spring break and have his friends come to the house for the weekend. 

 She tells him no at first and then tells him she will think about it. While out at a bar, Tyler begins to think about April and he calls her and says they need to talk. They meet on a bridge and he tells her they'll get back together as long as she never hurts him again and she agrees. That night Tyler calls all of his friends and invites them to his grandmothers ranch for the weekend.

The next day they all meet at Tyler's house and pile into Luke's truck and leave for the weekend. On the way to the ranch they are stopped by the town cop (played by Gary Busey). He asks why they are speeding and tells him that he lives in a quiet town and he expects to keep it that way. They arrive at the house and shortly after some of Tyler's friends begin hearing strange noises and seeing children out of the corner of their eye.

Later that night while they are sitting around a fire, Tyler begins to tell them the story of a school house that was on his grandmothers property. He tells them that all of the school children were murdered by their teacher named Adam. He says that their school teacher was ill and while dying was visited by a strange man whom he told he would do anything to stay alive. Shortly after Adam returned to teaching and began going into convulsions on the floor before murdering all of his students. He then tells his friends that the man was possessed. They didn't believe him and said that his story didn't make sense.

That night while brushing his teeth, Tyler sees a face in the mirror just as the power goes out. Just before the power comes back on, Mark, one of Tyler's friends, is in the kitchen when the demon appears behind him and disappears when the power comes back on. The next day Tyler's friend Jonathan comes to him and tells him that he wants to go home because strange things are happening to him and it's freaking him out.

Tyler agrees to take him home later that day. As Tyler and his friends are leaving for a fishing trip, April tries telling Tyler that she needs to talk to him and it's important. He brushes her off when she finally tells him that she's pregnant. They go into the woods and argue and leave Jonathan in the house by himself. He sees a little girl in the living room in front of him. He takes the keys to the truck and leaves. On his way into town he sees a dog in the middle of the road. He swerves to miss it and wrecks the truck. He hears voices and sees children all around him. He hears screaming and is sitting against the truck when a hand grabs his head and pulls him away.

After finding out that April is pregnant, Tyler insists that they pack their things and leave to talk in private. They reach the house and realize that the truck and Jonathan are missing. Meanwhile, Mark and his friend are in a boat on the water fishing when they feel something rocking the boat.

They get quiet and Mark thinks it's a crocodile. He dives into the water to investigate and comes up a few minutes late with his mouth full of blood and tells his friend to go. She paddles to the shore and runs into the woods where she finds some sort of altar and dead animals hanging from trees. When April and Tyler realize that Jonathan is gone, they go looking for him and they find the wrecked truck and no sign of Jonathan except his bloody cell phone. They eventually find Jonathan a short time later hanging from a tree.

Tyler, April, Candice, and Luke meet up at the house and decide to get weapons and go to the nearest neighbor. While in the shed looking for an axe, Tyler is attacked by ghost children. He calls out for April to help and when she finds him he is thrashing in the air. She helps him up and they go into the house. In the basement looking for weapons, Candice and Luke hear animal like noises and quickly leave the basement.

Candice makes it out but Luke gets pulled back down the stairs. Tyler comes in and tells them to stand back while he checks the basement. He finds Luke all bloody and chopped up. They run out of the house and find the neighbors a half mile down the road and ask for help. The neighbor calls the sheriff and tells him to get there as soon as possible. The sheriff arrives and questions Tyler, April, and Candice about what happened. They tell him about their friend and how someone or something killed them.

While in the basement Candice found some sort of journal and is trying to figure out what it means. The sheriff talks to the neighbors and they tell him that they have seen and heard unnatural things, and that they believe the kids. While looking at the book, Candice tells Tyler that Adam, the man who killed the children, has to make sacrificial offerings to stay alive and he has to kill the first born of every generation of his own blood. Tyler then realizes that he is a direct relative of Adam and that he's coming for him.

The sheriff orders them to show him where the bodies are and if they refuse they will be considered suspects. Candice and April take the sheriff back to the house to find Luke's body in the basement. The sheriff goes into the basement and finds blood but no body. On his way out, he is attacked by the ghost children and escapes. Tyler takes two deputies in the woods to find Jonathan's body. They begin hearing animal like noises behind them. The demon appears and kills both deputies before taking Tyler's body back to an altar in the woods and then...

What will that nasty demon do??? Why don't you check out Hallettsville on Netflix and find out!!! The movie sort of sounded good in the description, but it really wasn't that good. In fact, it was kind of bad!! The dialogue was horrible and the acting was ridiculous. The plot was something I've seen a hundred times and of course no movie would be complete without kids running through the woods all scared and hopeless. BORING!!!

That was kind of a waste of 87 minutes. And Gary Busey did nothing for that movie. He was all weird and crazy and I really wasn't a fan of his drug hazed acting...is he on drugs?? He sure as hell seems like it.

And the montage scenes!! UGHH!! I swear the last idk..fourth of that movie was nothing but one giant montage. It was horrible! And the ending was just silly. I've also seen that about a hundred times. Overall I'd give Hallettsville a 2.5 out of 5.

Like I said, the plot sucked and just about everything about this movie sucked. Although I will say that the little ghost kids and the demon thing was actually creepy. That was the best part of that movie...well, that and the end were the best part. You know, when the movie is over?? BOOO! Anyway, that's all I have to say about that. READY FOR A HOWLIN GOOD TIME?? By: SASHA SLAUGHTER

Hey horror fans!! Sasha Slaughter here with you for the final week of September...can you believe September is almost over?? But the good news is that October is quickly approaching, and we all know what October means..HALLOWEEN!! It's me and Zane's favorite, and we are sure to be bringing you some screams!!! But more on that later. Now it's time to get to the task at hand. Today for your reading pleasure I'll be reviewing, “Fear Itself Episode 9: Something with Bite.”  It was written by Max Landis and directed by Ernest Dickerson.

Now this should be episode 7 but it's actually episode 9, so bear with me. And I don't know why, but for some reason they aren't numbered right on Netflix. And here's a little info for you, NBC stopped airing Fear Itself after the eighth episode. There were 13 episodes in season 1, but only eight of them aired on television. Episodes 9-13 were produced but never aired in the United States. But you can find all 13 episodes on dvd and Netflix, so check that out! Now let's get to it!

 “Something With Bite,” is a story of veterinarian Wilbur Orwell, who works in an animal clinic with his employee Mikayla and Geoff. Dr. Orwell is a lazy slob that does half ass work and eats a lot (num nums!!!). When an unknown animal gets brought into his clinic, Dr. Orwell examines it and a man tells him that he hit it and decided to bring it to his clinic.

When trying to tend to the animal, he finds a collar with the name Michael on it. Suddenly, Dr. Orwell gets bitten by it and then the animal quickly dies. After he's bitten, Dr. Orwell feels ill but the following morning upon waking, he feels like a whole new person. He finds that he no longer has a taste for junk food and also has incredibly heightened senses.

 He goes to work on examining the body of the beast and finds that it has pierced ears and a filling in it's mouth. He finds Mikayla at the reception desk talking to a distraught couple. They introduce themselves as Crane and Moonflower Dougdale (Sounds like hippies to me). The Dougdale's tell Dr. Orwell that they are looking for their son, which they quickly correct and say they are looking for their animal. They say he went missing and fear he's been hit by a car. Orwell takes them to an exam room and shows them Michael's body. They plead with Orwell to please let them have the body so they can do a proper burial and Dr. Orwell reluctantly agrees.

After the couple leaves, Dr. Orwell calls lazy employee Geoff, who rarely shows up for his job. Geoff tells him that things have come up but promises he will be in the following day. Later that night, Orwell's arm starts to itch and he removes the bandage to discover that the bite has healed. He starts twitching and screaming and turns into a werewolf.

 He runs from his house and finds Geoff walking alone on the street. He jumps out in front of Geoff and kills him. He wakes up the next day and finds muddy paw prints leading from the window to the bed. He goes to work and is later questioned by an FBI agent about the death of his employee Geoff. The agent shows Orwell crime scene photos of Geoff's various body parts scattered around the crime scene. Orwell gets nervous and realizes that he may have been the cause of Geoff's death.

Orwell goes to visit the Dougdale's to talk to them about what happened. He tells Moonflower he's there to pay his condolences to Michael. He then looks at her and smiles and his eyes turn yellow. She smiles back at him and her eyes turn bright green. They are sitting down talking when Crane asks Wilbur if he's been able to control the change. Wilbur tells him he thinks he's able to now but then asks if it's possible to kill people in his wolf form. Crane tells him that he wouldn't do anything as a wolf that he wouldn't do as a man. Comforted by this, he then asks if they are the ones responsible for the recent string of animal attack deaths. They deny being involved and tell him that they are vegans. Crane then tells him that there are others out there like them who are less well behaved.

 Back at the clinic, Mikayla is getting ready to leave for the night when she is attacked by a wolf but survives. Orwell goes to visit her and the FBI agent shows up. He tells Orwell that she's lucky she’s still alive and that there was a patrol car right up the road from where she was attacked. Orwell starts acting strange and sniffing at Mikayla and quickly leaves the room.

He follows the scent to an abandoned warehouse where he transforms into a werewolf and meets a man named Forest J. Caldwell. Caldwell keeps telling Orwell that he is beautiful and that he has been waiting all his life to be changed. He keeps telling Orwell to bite him but Orwell never moves. Caldwell admits that he's the one who has been killing people in hopes of attracting attention from a werewolf. He shows Orwell the outfit he made of fur and razor sharp claws. Orwell still doesn't respond and when Caldwell mentions Mikayla and the fact that he didn't have a chance to kill her and that he was thinking of going to the hospital to do it, Orwell rips him apart and....

 Ohh nooo!!! And then what?? If you really want to know, go to Netflix and watch “Fear Itself: Something with Bite.”  This episode was ok I guess. Orwell got on my ever loving nerves. I can't quite put my finger on it, but he bothered me. The acting was a smidge over the top, especially the acting of Wilbur's wife Patty...that woman was horrible. Ughh!!!

There wasn't a whole lot of blood, but there was a few severed body parts, which is always a plus! And the werewolf thing was a little creepy, but it looked too fake. The hippies were kind of strange. And the guy hippie...eww his eyebrows got on my nerves. I wanted to take some hot wax to those bad boys!!!

Overall I'd give “Something to Bite” a 2 out of 5. I was kind of bored throughout the whole thing and wasn't very intrigued by what was happening. And the ending was totally LAME!!! It definitely could have been better. I doubt I'd ever watch this episode again. Once was enough, for sure!! And since you're here, how about you go see what Zane's got going on?? Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll blow your minds. Trust us. We're professionals.

CHOP CHOP CHOP By: SASHA SLAUGHTER

Well hey there!! Thanks for stopping by Dead End Horror!!! As you may or may not already know, this is random stuff week again, and we're doing whatever we feel like doing. Isn't that awesome?? Of course it is. Today I'll be reviewing, “ Butchered.” It was suggested to me by Zane because I needed a little direction =). I was a confused horror blogger!

So anyway, “Butchered” came out in 2010 and runs about 70 min. It's unrated and was directed by Charles Stewart Jr., Shaun O' Rourke, and Sheila Brothers. That’s about all I know about the production and whatnot, but let me tell you about the plot. Let’s do this!

                                                                       
When a group of teens decide to spend their last weekend on a remote island to say their final goodbyes before heading off to college, they get a little more than they bargained for. Little do they know convicted serial killer Terrance Skinner escaped from authorities while on death row in a maximum security prison. Skinner is referred to as "the butcher" due to the heinous way he killed his victims.

He would stock pile bodies in his family owned butcher shop and hack them into pieces. He had killed fourteen people before authorities caught up to him. And now that he's escaped he's taken cover on the very same island that the teens are headed for. It soon becomes a battle for the teens for survival against this unlikely foe.

                                                                           
Two policemen are chasing the butcher in the woods when he kills them and then escapes. A young woman named Kelly returns home to find her apartment door ajar but thinks nothing of it. She calls a friend to bitch about the fact that her boyfriend packed his stuff and moved out. She hears noises in her apartment and tells her friend she'd call back.

She checks all of the doors and finds her cat in one of the rooms. She calls her friend back and says it was only her cat when the butcher walks up behind her and kills her. Meanwhile, a bunch of college kids at a party are planning one last weekend together on a remote part of an island they used to hang out at. They want to get together one last time before college starts. Later that night on that same island, a man finds an axe in one of his boats and yells out for people to stop using his boathouse. Just then the butcher comes up behind him and kills him.

                                                                                     
 The next day Dylan gets his brother Brody to take him and his friends to the island to spend a few days there. They arrive at the island and set up their tents. They get to talking about the butcher and how he escaped from prison. Sam tells them that the police tracked him and he is thought to be around where they are.

After they finish talking about the butcher, they frolic on the beach for a while playing football and hanging out. Dawn sees her friend Chloe kiss Sam, whom she is interested in. She gets mad and storms off back to camp. When she arrives she finds the butcher going through everyone’s things. It only takes her moments to realize who he is and she starts running away. She falls in the sand (typical) and the butcher hits her in the head with a rock and drags her to another part of the island.

Sam and Chloe are getting ready to go at it when they hear Dawn scream. Chloe insists that they go try to find her. Sam says they'll go to the camp and get flashlights and go back. Just then the butcher walks up behind Chloe and throws an axe in her chest. Sam screams and runs away. He is hiding behind a tree when the butcher finds him and buries an axe into his stomach. Hope, Dylan, Jenna, and Trevor are getting worried about Sam and the girls so they decide to go looking for them on the island.

                                                                               
They decide to split up and Trevor and Hope run into the butcher shortly after. He tells Hope to run and go back to camp and find Jenna. Dylan finds the girls and tells them he's going to find Trevor. Trevor starts fighting the butcher and he kills Trevor with an axe and drags his dead body and puts it with the others.

Dylan goes back out to search for Trevor and stumbles across a pile of dead friends bodies. The butcher finds him and he runs. The butcher hears Hope and Jenna talking and heads in their direction. Dylan taunts him and calls him names and he throws an axe at Dylan. Meanwhile Hope is trying to reach Brody on Dylan's radio to tell him they need help. The butcher finds Hope and Jenna and...

                                                                                
And what?? What does the big bad butcher do??? Well I guess you should head on over to Netflix and watch Butchered to find out! This movie was ok. I wasn't crazy about it. The acting was totally over the top and at times so fake. And I don't know if it was Netflix or my computer, but the video quality was total shit! It was all blurry. Boo to that!!

There was a good amount of blood I guess. Could have been more. The killings were semi-believable, but half of the time they didn't show them, which really irked me. They'd usually change scenes when someone was about to get offed. I wanna see death dammit!!!

                                                                             
Yeesh! There was some brief nudity, boobs within the first 10 minutes of the movie that is. And then in the opening credits it showed the butcher torturing some half naked girl and cutting off her nipples. Can I just say something for the whole female population??? OUCH!!!!!!!!

                                                                                     
And another part I didn't like too much was all of the white kids talking like they're gangster. What is up with that?? Or maybe I was hearing things. Maybe it was some kind of accent, but jeez.

I gave “Butchered” a 2.5 out of 5. I didn't hate it but I didn't like it either. There’s a slight chance I'd watch this again, if I were incredibly bored and there wasn't a thing left to do in the world maybe. It is most definitely a B movie through and through. Hey there horror fans! Sasha Slaughter here with you for yet another week of randomness. Why another week of random stuff you ask? It's simple really. Our blog, our rules. Got it?? Now that we've got that straightened out, let's get to some horror huh??

Today I'll be reviewing Masters of Horror episode 11: “Pick Me Up.”  It was directed by Larry Cohen and stars Fairuza Balk. Does that name sound familiar? Yeah. She was one of the actresses from the movie, “The Craft.” Kick ass movie. Anyway, so let's get to it huh??

On a two-lane highway, two serial killers are in the middle of a turf war: One is named Wheeler (Who picks people up in his truck and kills them) and Walker ( A hitchhiker who murders anyone that gives him a ride.) And Stacia, who is recently divorced and trying to get away from her problems.  She ends up in a battle of wits with the two killers.

                                                                                
A transport bus breaks down and the passengers are worried. Stacia decides to walk to the motel 14 miles down the road while the rest of the passengers stay behind. A trucker pulls over and asks if anyone would like a ride. Two out of the four passengers accept and Deuce and his girlfriend Marie decide to stay behind with the bus driver. The driver takes them to a truck stop to eat and rest for a while.

Meanwhile back at the bus, a man named Walker appears from the woods and asks the bus driver for a ride. The bus driver tells him the bus is broken down and Walker asks if he would have given him a ride had the bus not been broken down. The bus driver tells him yes he would. Just then the bus driver sees a dead snake inside of Walker's coat. Walker tells him that everyone is afraid of snakes and then strangles the bus driver with the dead snake. Walker goes into the bus where Deuce and Marie are and shoots poor Deuce.

Back at the truck stop, a passenger named Birdie asks to see what’s in the back of Wheeler's truck. He takes her to the back and a few minutes later they show him locking the truck and saying "Bye bye Birdie". Wheeler and Danny are back in the truck when it cuts to a scene of Birdie hanging in the back of the truck with chains around her neck. They stop at the bus to see if the passengers are still there. They get there and can't find anyone. Danny finds it odd that everyone would leave without their luggage. Just then, he opens the second luggage compartment and finds Deuce and the bus driver dead inside.

                                                                                  
Wheeler grabs Danny and puts his head under the door of the luggage compartment and slams it shut, decapitating him. The whole time this was happening, Walker was watching from the woods across from the bus. Wheeler hears Marie screaming and goes into the woods to find her tied to a tree, covered in barbed wire left to die. He tells her that he can't help her because she isn't his and walks away.

                                                                             
Walker flags down a van driven by  a stoner and his girlfriend. They offer him a ride. Shortly after he accepts the ride, Wheeler stops along the road and finds the body of the stoner with his throat slit. Meanwhile, Stacia found the motel and gets a room for the night.

Over in the next room, she can hear moaning and screaming so she tells them to keep it down. The scene then cuts to Walker and the stoner’s girlfriend. Lily, (the pot-heads girlfriend,) is tied to a bed, half naked and getting skinned alive. Wheeler pulls into the motel and gets a room next to Stacia's. She goes to the soda machine but it wont work and Walker appears out of nowhere and offers her a quarter and asks if he can fix anything in her room. She declines and is about to go back to her room when Wheeler appears. He asks her if she was with the bus that broke down and she asks how he knew that.

                                                                                                                                                              Wheeler and Walker realize that they have each been killing people that were from that same bus and a turf war had begun to get the rights to kill Stacia. She gets freaked out and goes back into her room. While in the bathroom she hears scratching noises on her window. Walker is outside using a knife on her window to try to get in. She gets scared and grabs her stuff and flees the room.

While walking along the road, Stacia stops to look at a billboard when Wheeler comes out from behind it. He tells her that he is a cop and offers her a ride in his truck. She accepts and he tells her that Walker is a poacher and likes to hurt people. He tells her to look in the glove compartment and everything will be explained. She leans down and he bangs her head against the dashboard and knocks her out.

                                                                               
She wakes up handcuffed and strapped in with the seatbelt. Wheeler is driving when he finds Walker standing in the middle of the road. He stops and Walker asks if he can have a ride. Wheeler tells him to get in and they begin playing head games with each other. They argue about who gets to kill Stacia and draw their guns, ready to kill Stacia and each other.

 Stacia, who is sitting in the middle, uses her foot to slam on the brakes and Walker and Wheeler fly out of the windshield. They lie still for a few moments before getting up and trying to get to the cab to kill Stacia. They begin fighting each other for the rights to kill Stacia when the ambulance sirens sound. They both pass out and wake up in an ambulance. The EMT tells Wheeler he's lucky and he has a few broken bones and asks him about the gun. He tells the EMT he's innocent. Wheeler looks over and sees Walker beside him and starts freaking out and bitch slapping him. They finally calm down and Walker suggests how much fun they'd have with an ambulance and pulls out a knife. Just then the EMT plunges syringes full of air into their chests and....

                                                                                           
Ohh I don't know!! Syringes full of air sounds like death to me, but what do I know??? If you wanna know what happens, go on ahead and watch Pick Me Up. I actually really liked this episode. Much better than the previous one, that's for sure.

 There was some brief nudity (Just a little boob shot), a decapitation, a strangulation with a dead snake, and a chick getting skinned alive! What's not to like??? This was a great episode. A good bit more gory than most of the others. The acting was good, except for the truck driver guy. He just creeped me out!! His voice got on my nerves..it was soo annoying! Another thing I wasn't crazy about...The opening scene was a fucking sneaky, slithery snake. I will not lie, I shuddered when I saw that. It totally gave me the heebie jeebies!! I hate snakes!!

                                                                                  
Minus some cool points for that! Overall I'd give Pick Me Up a 3.5 out of 5. The gore was just right, not too much and not too little. And the end surprised the hell out of me. Never saw it coming!!! THESE WICKED LITTLE THINGS WOULD LIKE TO EAT YOUR INSIDES By: SASHA SLAUGHTER

Hey hey hey!! What is going on you horror loving creepers?? Sasha Slaughter here with you for the final day of random stuff week. It's over already!!! Boo!!! But never fear, it'll be back again soon, I'm almost sure of it. So today I'll be reviewing a movie called Wicked Little Things. It was suggested to me by Zane, so it better be good!!! =).

Wicked Little Things was directed by J.S. Cardone (Who directed Prom Night, The Covenant, The Forsaken and many others). It was written by Boaz Davidson (Story) and Ben Nedivi (Screenplay). And here's a little fun fact, Tobe Hooper was originally chosen to direct Wicked Little Things, but he dropped out to direct Mortuary. Also, Cardone renamed the film to Wicked Little Things as it was originally titled Zombies. The movie is set in Pennsylvania (Hey, I know that place!) but was actually filmed in the mountains of Bulgaria. And one last tidbit of info for you, this film debuted as one of eight films that make up the horror movie festival 8 Films to Die for. So let's get on with the review huh??

 In 1913 in Carlton, Pennsylvania the cruel owner of Carlton mine exploited poor young children and made them explore the mines. After an explosion in the mine, a group of children were buried alive. 90 years later in the present day Karen Tunny has decided to move her and her two daughters, Sarah and Emma, into her husbands old house that she inherited when he died recently. The house she inherits is located close to the abandoned Carlton Mine.

 They get to the house and find what appears to be blood smeared on their front door. That night while in bed, Karen has a strange dream about a child from the mine that comes into the room and stabs her. Later the next day, Karen asks Sarah to get a few things in town. She meets a few kids her age and when she tells them where she lives, Shawn replies "Up where the fucking zombies are?".

Shortly after, Sarah leaves to get groceries and her little sister disappears into the woods. Karen is in the basement with the plumber when she hears noises and goes upstairs to find Emma missing. Karen searches the woods and eventually finds Emma standing in front of the abandoned Carlton Mine. Karen makes her promise to never go there again and when they try to find their way home, they get lost.

They find a house in the woods and go inside. Mr. Hanks appears a few moments later and tells them that they shouldn't be outside at night and tells Emma not to go near the mines anymore. He tells them the way to get home and tells her not thanks necessary for the blood on her door. She begins to tell him not to do it anymore but he tells them that they need to get home right away and to come back in the day time and they'll talk.

Later that night when Emma is in bed and Sarah is out with her friends, Karen goes into the basement to read the articles she found about the Carlton Mine explosion. Outside she can hear voices and whispering. The children that were killed in the mine explosion are outside of her house but when they smell the blood on the door they turn around and leave. Karen goes upstairs but doesn't see anything except her front door hanging open. That night Mr. Hanks is at the old Carlton mansion with a pig that he sacrifices for the cannibalistic children so they leave him alone.

When Sarah arrives home her mother shows her old family albums and pictures of her father and his family. She tells Sarah that she had no idea he had family in Pennsylvania because when she tried to talk about he would change the subject. She says it's as if he kept the family a secret. The next day while looking for a plumber Karen runs into William Carlton at the store. The owner of the store tells her that he's there to survey the land because he wants to tear down the Carlton mansion and built a ski resort.                                                                 

                                                                                         
The zombie-like children continue to kill and the community dismisses it as simple disappearances. Although it is hinted that most of the community is well aware of the presence of the "children". Karen sees Emma standing at the edge of the woods when she hears voices. She goes into the woods to investigate and sees cars at the old Carlton mansion. She goes inside looking for William Carlton. He finds her in one of the rooms and tells her to get off of his property. She informs that she lives just down the road and he asks if she is the Tunny widow.

She says yes and tells her that she has 2 weeks to vacate the land because he owns it. She says she has a deed and he tells her that it's a miners deed and it doesn't mean anything. Karen goes to talk to Mr. Hanks and he confirms that Carlton owns all of the land. He tells her the only way for her to own the house is if Carlton dies, and then the miners deed kicks in. Later that night while Sarah is with her friends Karen discovers a photo album with pictures of the children that were killed in the mine explosion. She recognizes two of the children named Ryan and Mary Tunny and realizes that they are related to her late husband.

While Sarah and her friends are parked on a road drinking and talking, the zombie children find their car. At first the car is rocked back and forth. Shawn gets out to see what is happening when he's dragged away from the car. Tim gets in the drivers seat and tries to leave, but the car gets stuck in the mud. He gets out and tries to push it when some of the zombie children attack and kill him.

                                                                         
They break the car windows and take Sarah's friend Lisa and they try to take Sarah. She gets the car unstuck and drives back her house. She tells her mom that the children are real and that they killed her friends. They both realize that Emma is missing and Karen says that she is probably at the mine again. They go looking for her in the mine but can't find her. As they come out of the mine, they are surrounded by children.

Karen tells Sarah to run and they take off into the woods. They run onto the road and find a car and get in. When they get into the car they realize it's William Carlton. She tells them to drive or the children will kill them. Just as she says this the tires are flattened before they can pull away. Karen and Sarah get out and run to Mr. Hanks house.

Carlton arrives at Mr. Hanks shortly after Karen and Sarah and they let him in. The children start trying to break into the house. Hanks and Carlton try shooting the children and find that it's ineffective. Hanks, Sarah, and Karen get in a truck and try to escape, but when it won't start they run into the barn. They go in the barn to find that Carlton is in there also hiding from the children.

 Hank suddenly realizes he and Emma are direct blood relatives, and it turns out that Mary has an older brother who was also a Tunny, and Karen is in some way protected by Emma's relationship with Mary. Just as the children break into the barn he tells them not to move because he doesn't know what they'll do. It's then that he realizes that it's Carlton they are after because they are looking for revenge because his family caused the mining accident that killed them. The children find Carlton in the barn and kill him. Karen hears Emma calling for her outside and she goes to her. Emma tells her that the children won't hurt anyone anymore and then.......

And then???? Well if you want to know maybe you should hop on over to Netflix and watch Wicked Little Things. Ya know, I kind of liked this movie. And the only reason I liked it is because of those creepy little black eyed, blood smeared, cannibalistic zombie children. RAWR!! Ya'll know I love me some zombies!!

I mean granted it does have a good bit of the usual cliches that a lot of horror movies have (Cell phones don't work, fumbling/dropping the keys, tripping and falling while running and proceeding to say you can't run anymore, dying flashlight, youngest kid befriends ghost and everyone chalks it up to an imaginary friend). It's got the whole shebang of typical things that happen in horror films. But it's all gravy baby!! That doesn't mean that it's not good! The acting was great, there was a good bit of blood thanks to the zombie children for eating a poor innocent piggy and chomping on a few peoples insides.

Overall I'd give Wicked Little Things a 3 out of 5. Yeah, you've seen movies like this before yadda yadda, but they're still good. The plot was great and the zombie children were hella creepy! I mean their black eyes and how they gnawed on peoples insides, they were mean little kiddies! What I didn't like was the a lot of the movie was dark. Yeah, I guess some of it was for effect but yeesh, lighten up! =) Now you know my thoughts about that, now you can go check out Zombie Zane's stuff. He wants you to look at it!
