Continuing with the shocking horror topic, Zombie Zane and I watched 'Scrapbook', directed by Eric Stanze. It came out in 2000 and is rated NC-17, which basically means rated X. It is about a derranged serial killer who makes his victims write about their ordeal in a scrapbook that he made before he kills them.
It starts off with a boy as he enters his sisters room and finds her almost naked. She invites him and makes him touch her and then tells him to lay on the bed while she touches him. She turns around and starts masturbating and then stops and starts messing with the boy again when she hears a voice and jumps off of the bed. Their brother comes in telling the boy not to fuck his sister and he grabs him and takes him to the living room where he rapes him. They don't show the rape, but it's pretty obvious whats happening. Fast forward some years later and the boy that was raped 'Leonard' is taking a dead body out of a van, with a live girl *Clara* still in the back. He ties the girl to a chair in his kitchen *which is disgusting by the way* He starts talking to her and rambling about a bunch of stuff. He takes his pants off *which he does alot in the movie* and takes the girl back into this filthy bedroom, handcuffs her to a bed *he has boxes of handcuffs all over the place...creepy* and rapes her until she bleeds, which they show and it's very disturbing. After thats over, he has her at the kitchen table, telling her about the first time he killed someone, and telling her about the scrapbook.
He tells her to write in the scrapbook and she writes that he has a small dong and he's a loser and a piece of shit. That infuriates him so he takes her outside, stuffs her into a garbage can, pours a gallon of milk on her, duct tapes the lid shut, and leaves the garbage can in the hot sun. After a while, he finally lets her out. A guy in a red truck comes by his house to ask if he can use Leonards barn and he beats the hell out of him, cuts off his hand and locks him in a closet. Clara climbs into the other closet in the room to hide. Leonard comes to the door and starts going on and on about a hooker and her period...it's really gross. And he leaves for a while. Clara tries to escape but finds out there is a padlock on the door, but it isn't locked so she gets a wire hanger and takes the padlock off of the door. She finds that there is another lock on the door, but she's able to break the door down and she runs out of the house and into the barn. Leonard is on his way back and he sees her running into the barn and follows her.
Clara tries to find a way out of the barn while Leonard is looking for her with an axe. She goes into a room and hides behind a door, but under the door he can see her toes, so he cuts them off with the axe. After she wraps her foot, she tries to get away again but he catches her. He takes her into the bathroom and handcuffs her to the showerhead and videotapes himself pouring soap into her mouth and threatening to cut her with a razor. He then takes her into the bedroom and starts to try to rape her, and either he's having boner problems or he's feeling extra psychotic that day because he rapes her with what looks like a wine bottle...that was rough.
He makes Clara watch the video he made in the bathroom while she reads the things that his other victims wrote in the scrapbook before he killed them. She gets the idea to write in the scrapbook that she understands Leonard and that she needs him. He reads it and it starts to get to him.Little does he know, that Clara is only mind boinking him. He keeps asking her to write in the scrapbook and she keeps writing that he's all she needs and he's starting to freak out and tells her that she's messing up the book.
Clara ties to seduce Leonard but he doesn't know what to do because he's used to raping girls instead of things being consensual. She duct tapes him to the bed like she's going to have sex with him, instead she takes a knife she finds on the floor and stabs the soles of both of his feet. She takes pictures of him and then smacks him in the head with the camera a few times before taking the scrapbook and leaving, with Leonard still duct taped to the bed.
OMIGOD!! This movie was mucho disturbing, and weirdly, thats what it takes to freak me out sometimes =). There was a good bit of nudity, pretty much everything from butt to dingus. There wasn't a whole lot of gore, I think sometimes the blood was a bit much for what was happening, and there were a few rape scenes which were kinda rough to watch. I think overall I'd give this movie a 3 out of 5 and a 4 out of 5 for shock value. I'll be honest, this movie definitley gave me the shocker!! PUT THAT IN YOUR FUCKING BOOK!!

Ok, enough foreplay. Let’s get to this week’s topic. This week at Dead End Horror, Sasha and I are watching and reviewing shocking horror films. And do I got a good one to tell y’all about. Ever seen the film, ‘SCRAPBOOK?’ No? Fortunately for you, I have. Actually Sasha and I both have seen it. She’s got a review of it too so go by and check out what she has to say about it. Two opinions are better than one, yes. Don’t just take my word for it.
‘SCRAPBOOK’ is a horror film about the kidnaping and torture of a young woman over the course of several days. The title of the film refers to a scrapbook that her captor keeps as documentation of all the women he’s tortured and killed. Sounds pretty interesting huh?
Anyway, this film was directed in 1998 by Eric Stanze and was released in 2000 in the USA by Sub Rosa Studios. There’s also a censored version that was released in the UK but who wants to see that one? Gimmie the good shit man!
Speaking of the good shit, I really liked this film. I mean for an indie it wasn’t bad at all. It did have some flaws, like the sound wasn’t the greatest. And it did drag a bit. The characters weren’t developed as well as they could’ve been and it kinda had a hard time building suspense. But don’t get me wrong, these flaws aren’t enough to make this movie a piece of shit. For what it is it’s damn shocking. And that’s the point of this weeks topic.
And yes, there is plenty of shocking stuff to go around in this film. Here’s a brief list without going into too much detail: ass rape, ass rape with a bottle (big end first...OUCH! Sounds like Saturday night at my house!) The killer dude urinates on his prisoner (golden shower) he forces here to suck him off, (side note- he may need Viagra as he was a tad limp during the scene) There’s plenty of violence, some you just hear some you see, but really this movie doesn’t leave much for the imagination. It pretty much shows it all. Tell ya what, let me break it down a lil further for ya...
BODY COUNT - 1- Just one dude dies but then again, there’s only like 3 people in the cast
SEVERINGS - Just a couple of toes. There are several severed hands and shit scattered about the film however.
SEX SCENES - Ummm, there no sex in this film...Well not consensual anyway. Not sure if rape counts...But there’s plenty of that.
NUDITY NUMBER - 5 out of 5!! Plenty of it here. Balls, bush, boobs, butt, and dick. (Sorry, I couldn’t think of a word for dick that started with a ‘B.’)
GORE SCORE - I give ‘Scrapbook’ a 2.5 out of 5 on the gore meter.
MY SCORE - 3 out of 5. I rated it different here than I did on my shocking horror movie list. As my shocking horror movie list ratings was based on shock factor not like ability. Ya dig?

Here we go, here we go, here we go yo!! Zombie Zane coming to ya live and direct once again from the mother- humpin’ seven-six-one-oh-seven. So this week Sasha and I are fuss cuss and discussing shocking horror movies. Not that PG-13 shit that seems to flood the genre, but that good old fashioned WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT kinda movie. Ya dig? Anyway, there’s a ton of those kinda films out there. Ya just gotta know where to find them. And lucky for you, I just happen to have a pretty good list of some of those kind of movies. Now this list is in no particular order, but all the films listed here are sure to give you a few ‘WHAT THE FUCK!’ moments. So kick on back, and let yours truly share with you TEN SHOCKING HORROR MOVIES.
ZOMBIE ZANE’S TEN SHOCKING HORROR MOVIES
ANTICHRIST (2009) Written and directed by Lars von trier, this bad boy is truly shocking. Ya got Willem Dafoe ejaculating blood, ya got his wife taking a pair of scissors and cutting off her own clit, (and yes, they show it) ya got plenty of violence, what’s not to like, right? Now this film won a ton of awards, but it was a little to artsy-fartsy for me. But for pure shock value, it’s worth a watch. I give this a solid 2.5 out of 5.
THE GIRL NEXT DOOR (2007) This film is an adaptation of the 1989 novel of the same name by Jack Ketchum. It’s based (loosely) on the true story of the murder of Sylvia Likens. This is by far one of the most shocking films I have ever seen. And I ain’t talking the watered down Lifetime movie version. Make sure you see the one with Ketchum’s name attached to it. This was the first and only time I have cried during a horror film. BE WARNED!! NOT AN EASY WATCH!! I give this film a solid 4.5 out of 5. It’s shocking beyond belief.
SALO or the 120 DAYS OF SODOM (1975) This shocking film is based on the book ‘120 Days of Sodom’ written by the Marquis de Sade. The film is about four corrupt libertines who capture eighteen teenage boys and girls and subject them to four months of extreme violence, sadism, and extreme mental and sexual torture. I mean they force this one girl to eat a plate of shit. Literally. Not figuratively. EWW!! There’s ass rape, scalping, branding, eyes and tongues getting cut out, it’s a bad motherfucker man. And it’s been banned in like 60 countries. This film gets a 4.75 out of 5 on the shock meter.
CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST (1980) This film is full of graphic gore, sexual violence and cruelty to animals. Now in no way am I fan of the animal abuse. In fact I loathe people who are cruel to animals. But that aside, this lil’ gem is down right gritty. It is also considered to be one of the top twenty controversial films of all time. It’s about a film crew who go into the Amazon to investigate the disappearance of another film crew. The second team finds the lost film cans and learns the fate of the first team. As I said, this film is brutally disturbing. I give it a 4.75 out of 5 on the shock scale.
SLEEPAWAY CAMP (1983) This film is a cult classic horror film written and directed by Robert Hiltzik. Yes, it’s your typical teenage slasher film, and yes it’s campy and over the top. Then why is it on my list? Well, this film just happens to have one of the most shocking endings for a horror film that I’ve ever seen. I saw it for the first time when I was like 10 and the end made me cry. I was so confused and freaked out that I needed a hug from my mom. Needless to say I give it a solid 3 out of 5 on the shock-o- meter. A must own for fans of the slasher genre.
THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE : FIRST SEQUENCE (2010) This Dutch horror film brings a whole new meaning to the term ass to mouth. It’s about a mad surgeon who kidnaps three tourists and surgically joins them mouth to ass creating a human centipede. And oh yeah, they all share the same digestive tract. What that means is if you’re the one in the middle, you eat the shit of the first part of the centipede and the person behind you eats your poo. Now not for nothin’ but if I were to fall victim of the human centipede, I’d rather be in the lead. Rather to let someone eat my shit than to eat someone else’s. What a shitty movie, huh? Not really. It’s actually good and I give it a solid 4.5 out of 5.

The title of the movie refers to the scrapbook that the kidnapper/rapist/serial killer keeps to document his crimes. Now this film one several awards including in 2007 where it won best feature at the FRIGHT NIGHT FILM FESTIVAL in Louisville, Kentucky. It’s fo sho full of shock, some say even border line porn but nonetheless, it’s still a must see. It gets a 3.5 out of 5 and is available on Netflix.
I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE (1978) Roger Ebert gave this film no stars and called it a bag of garbage. FUCK HIM!! What does he know about anything?? This movie is a rape-revenge kinda deal and yes, it’s controversial, yes it’s not an easy watch and has scenes of gang rape, violence etc.etc. But it is shocking. And that’s the point of this list, yes? So take my advice and if you wanna be shocked and see a woman get some revenge, then watch this bad motherfucker. 4.75 out of 5.
THE GORE GORE GIRLS (1972) Mostly known for the scene when chocolate milk spurts out of a severed nipple, this over the top gore fest is actually rather amusing. It does have some shock to it i.e. the scene where a girls ass is mutilated with a meat tenderizer and salt and peppered. And the above mentioned nipple scene It’s kinda an over the top slasher thing so if you’re into that kinda genre, give it look-see. It’s a 2.5 out of 5 on the shock-o-meter. Not the best, but you could do worse.
HIGH TENSION (2003) Directed by Alexandre Aja, this French horror film absolutely delivers the goods!! Nothing like a severed head blow job to get the movie rolling, yes. This film has everything from bloody killings, to strong language, some nudity, everything you need to make a truly shocking horror film. And once again, Roger Eber (Mr. Horror expert) or so he thinks, hated this film. Again, what the fuck does he know?? This is a good solid horror film. It has all necessary ingredients. So on that note, fuck him and his horror movie hating ass. I rate this movie a 4 out of 5! A must own for horror fans.

COZY AS A HUMAN BUG IN A RUG
What it do What it do! Zombie Zane here coming to ya live and direct from the seven six one oh seven. This week our topic at DEAD END HORROR is shocking horror films. Good topic huh? I thought so too. Anyway, Sasha and I are watching a couple of films together and reviewing them. Now the movies we picked this week are from my top ten shocking horror movie list and they are bot available on Netflix so if you wanna watch them after you read us, then you may do so. Ok, the first movie we watched was, ‘THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE : FIRST SEQUENCE.’ Ever seen that one? No? That’s cool, take a sec and read this review. Maybe you’ll wanna watch it. Or skip this one and read Sasha’s. Either way.
This 2010 Dutch horror film was written and directed by Tom Six. (No relation to the Motley Crue guy) Anyway the film is about a German doctor who kidnaps three tourists and connects them surgically mouth to ass. EWWW!! Talk about shitty huh? And by doing that, he creates a human centipede. Hence the title of the movie. He basically does it for his own amusement and because he’s kinda a sick bastard. Really, that’s the plot. I know it doesn’t sound deep, but it does have a unique concept. How many other movies have you heard of like this? And the dude that plays that German doctor (Dieter Laser) is a total creepy von creep creep!! He really does a great job of portraying the mad doctor. He really makes this film work.
Now as far as the surgical procedure is concerned, the whole ass to mouth thing, not much of it is shown. There’s just enough to make you feel a tad squeamish. It’s more the concept of the whole thing that makes this movie what it is. I mean if you stop and think about it, it’s really kinda fucked up. How would you like to be attached to someone else’s ass and have to eat their shit? EWWW!! No thanks, I’ll pass. And yes, that actually is one of the scenes in this movie. Hence that’s one of the reasons this film made my list of the most shocking horror movies.
Now I know this film sounds like it’d be full of gore and shit like that, but really, it’s not. It’s not as bloody as you might think it would be. As I said before, it’s the general concept of the film. It does have some death, it does have some nudity, some foul language, it does possess the necessary ingredients that most horror movies need to be worth a fuck. And a little side note here, there’s very little in the way of CGI. I get so tired of that shit. The less CGI the better. And the human centipede actually looks pretty creepy and not too over the top. The actors wore special underwear made of rubber with a place to bite down on to create the effect of the mouth to ass. In any case, this is a pretty cool movie and you should give it watch. Let me take a sec and break it down further fo ya.
BODY COUNT - 6 - Not a bad number for a horror film. 6 deaths is a lil below avg. But I’ll take it.
SEVERINGS - 0 - Not limbs, or heads, or anything, but there is a good surgical scene.
SEX SCENES - 0 - No humpin here...It;’s a fuck free film.
NUDITY NUMBER - 1 out of 5. Not much here either, a couple side view boob shots, and an old man’s ass...Could’ve done without that....
GORE SCORE - 2.75 out of 5 - Not much gore, but enough to make you squirm a bit.
MY SCORE - 4.5 out of 5 - Almost perfect! I give it such a high score due to the concept of the film. It’s very unique and very disturbing. I highly recommend it if you’re in the mood for something different.

And the dude that plays that German doctor (Dieter Laser) is a total creepy von creep creep!! He really does a great job of portraying the mad doctor. He really makes this film work.
Now as far as the surgical procedure is concerned, the whole ass to mouth thing, not much of it is shown. There’s just enough to make you feel a tad squeamish. It’s more the concept of the whole thing that makes this movie what it is. I mean if you stop and think about it, it’s really kinda fucked up. How would you like to be attached to someone else’s ass and have to eat their shit? EWWW!! No thanks, I’ll pass. And yes, that actually is one of the scenes in this movie. Hence that’s one of the reasons this film made my list of the most shocking horror movies.
Now I know this film sounds like it’d be full of gore and shit like that, but really, it’s not. It’s not as bloody as you might think it would be. As I said before, it’s the general concept of the film. It does have some death, it does have some nudity, some foul language, it does possess the necessary ingredients that most horror movies need to be worth a fuck. And a little side note here, there’s very little in the way of CGI. I get so tired of that shit. The less CGI the better. And the human centipede actually looks pretty creepy and not too over the top. The actors wore special underwear made of rubber with a place to bite down on to create the effect of the mouth to ass. In any case, this is a pretty cool movie and you should give it watch. Let me take a sec and break it down further fo ya.
BODY COUNT - 6 - Not a bad number for a horror film. 6 deaths is a lil below avg. But I’ll take it.
SEVERINGS - 0 - Not limbs, or heads, or anything, but there is a good surgical scene.
SEX SCENES - 0 - No humpin here...It;’s a fuck free film.
NUDITY NUMBER - 1 out of 5. Not much here either, a couple side view boob shots, and an old man’s ass...Could’ve done without that....
GORE SCORE - 2.75 out of 5 - Not much gore, but enough to make you squirm a bit.
MY SCORE - 4.5 out of 5 - Almost perfect! I give it such a high score due to the concept of the film. It’s very unique and very disturbing. I highly recommend it if you’re in the mood for something different.

This week on the Dead End, it's all about shocking horror and I'm going to be reviewing the movie 'Human Centipede: The first sequence'. My partner Zombie Zane definitley knows alot more about shocking horror than I do, so needless to say, he schooled me a little this week.
Human Centipede came out in 2009 and is directed by Tom Six. And let me tell you, it's definitley gross!! *shocked face!!!* It starts out in Germany with this weird guy pulled over on the side of the road, and a trucker stops behind him and gets out of his truck with a roll of toilet paper *you can guess what the trucker is up to* The creeper gets out of his car with a tranquilizer gun and shoots the dumping trucker and takes him back to his house. Fast forward a bit to two American girls that are searching for a nightclub but end up getting a flat tire in the process. And I do have to mention the horny old man that pulls up beside them that thinks he has "horny movies" of the girls at home..OMG! That was amusing. Anyway..They decide to go into the woods and try and find help. There was about 5 minutes of back and forth bitching at eachother until they stumble upon a house in the middle of the woods. They knock on the door and this big, tall, creeper answers the door and lets them in. They ask to use his phone to call a cab and he offers to do it while he gets them a drink of water. Little do they know, the big, tall German creeper just slipped some roofies into their water.
He pretends to call for a cab while he drugs their drinks. He brings them their water and sits on the couch waiting for the drugs to kick in. Jenny drinks most of her water and starts feeling the effects of the drugs because Lindsay accidently spilled hers. When the drugged girl starts to get tired, Dr. Josef Heiter *creepy guy* tells the other one that he put date rape drugs in their water. Of course the other girl gets freaked out and tries to leave but doesn't make it far when Dr. Creeper gives her a shot in the neck to knock her out.
They wake up downstairs in the basement strapped to hospital beds with IV's in their arms. And the dumping trucker is down there also. Josef goes to the trucker and tells him that he's "Not a match" and that he has to kill him, so he injects something into his IV and the trucker dies and he decides to bury him in the backyard. What a nice guy, burying him and all..not. Ok, so then Josef comes home with a Japanese guy whom he puts in the basement and straps to a hospital bed. And the doctor reveals his plan, to make the three of them into a human centipede. He explains everything, from taking out their knee caps to taking out some teeth, and to attaching some mouths to some asses. If you ask me, I'd rather be at the front of that freaky chain.
While he is prepping them for the operation, Lindsay unties herself and tries to escape. The doctor chases her all around the house and she ends up in his pool and refuses to come out. So he shuts the pool cover and walks away, thinking that she drowned. She manages to get out of the pool and goes to the basement to get Jenny and try to escape. She drags Jenny out of her bed, up the stairs and into a bedroom to escape through the broken window. If that were me, I'd save my own ass first. Oh, was that harsh?? Ehh! So anyway in the process of trying to drag the sedated weight that is her friend, she manages to get out the broken window but the doctor is standing right behind her and shoots her with the tranquilizer gun. And he tells her just for trying to escape, she will the middle of the chain.
After he gets the two girls back inside he prepares them for the operation. They don't really show much of it, but they do show him ripping out some teeth and cutting some butt tissue. And the surgery is complete. The Japanese guy is the beginning of the chain, followed by Lindsay *who tried to escape* and then ends with Jenny. They have to crawl around on all fours because their knee caps were removed. The doctor wakes them up and starts taking pictures and then takes a mirror and shows them what they all look like. He also attempts to train them like animals, by making the Japanese guy bring him the paper while he stands there in his white doctor coat and weird sunglasses. Later that night, the doctor feeds the beginning of the chain, he's the only one that can eat, seeing as how the other two have their mouths connected to an ass. Another amusing thing is when the little Japanese guy bites the doctor...too funny.
He has them outside and the Japanese guy starts freaking out, saying that he has to umm...take a dump. And I think you can guess where that will go, seeing as how he has someone attached to his ass. GROSS!!! He does a check up on them to see how they are, and finds out that Jenny, the last one on the chain, has blood poisoning, not to mention her face is all infected..again...GROSS!! After the check up, the police come to his house because they got a complaint of an American girl screaming in his yard. He repeatedly refuses that he has anything to do with it and even tries to drug the two cops that come to his house. They threaten to return with a search warrant and then leave. While the three downstaris attempt to escape, the doctor comes down to try and stop them. And I will say, that little Japanese guy messed Dr. Creeper up! He stabbed him with a scalpel and then bit a nice big chunk out of his neck.
And so the three of them begin trying to climb up the basement stairs to get away. They reach the top and go into the room with the broken window, thinking they can escape that way. They discover that the window had since been fixed. The doctor reaches the room with scalpel in hand, and then the Japanese guy goes on a tangent about living a selfish existence and then proceeds to slit his throat with a piece of glass. The cops return with the warrant and search the house for the doctor. One of the cops drank the drugged water and is starting to get disoriented. He walks into the where the pool is and finds the doctor, and then gunshots are fired, but it's not the doctor thats killed. The whacko doctor somehow got a gun and shot and killed the cop. The other cop hears the gunshots and goes to the pool and sees the doctor sitting along the wall. Before he can get a chance to shoot, the creeper shoots him and before the cop goes down, he shoots the doctor in the head. The last scene is of Lindsay and Jenny, still attached to eachother, with Jenny dying of blood poisoning. Jenny dies and Lindsay is left there, alone, attached to the ass of a dead guy, and with a dead girl attached to her own ass. What a way to go!!
So, this movie was definitley gross. There was an ok amount of blood, not alot of gore, but the plot was pretty good. Just the thought of that happening grosses me out alot! Ughh! It was a shocking movie, and overall I'm going to give it a solid 3 out of 5. Don't forget to check out Zombie Zanes review of 'Human Centipede', you'll be glad you did.
