COME AND RIDE ON ME BROOMSTICK BY: SASHA SLAUGHTER

Happy Halloween creeps and creepettes! Thanks for stopping by Dead End Horror on this spooktacular 31st of October. I hope you enjoy what we've got in store for you! It's sure to make your skin crawl...or not. Either way, I promise you, it will more than likely be awesome! =) Today I'll be giving you a little taste of what I do best, and that's poetry my friends. I figured since it's Halloween I'd give you a few Halloween themed poems to sink your fangs into. So enough talk, let's get to it shall we?

THE WITCHES SACRIFICE
Bound thy feet and cut out thy tongue,
they must sacrifice him by midnight for their youth,
and so it shall be done.
They surround the cauldron as they chant their spell,
preparing the man in front of them,
as he stares at them like they've come straight from hell.
Midnight is coming, theres no time to waste,
they must brew their potion and perfect the taste.
The naked man in front of them attempts to escape,
but they've already begun to dismember him,
thus sealing his fate.
The clock strikes twelve and man knows that the time is here,
as the witches stand before him,
he no longer feels any fear.
They promise soon that he will be dead,
as they stir their potion and cut off his head.
The witches desired youth,
the ability to once again be young,
they did everything that the spell required,
and so it was done.
WOW!! How messed up am I?? haha! Well, I guess now that you've read these, it gives you more insight into my warped mind =). Anyway, I hope that you liked them and that they got you into the Halloween mood! They certainly got me into it. Since you're here creeping on my weirdness, how about you stop by and see what Zane's got on the slab for Halloween. It's sure to be creepy! And don't forget to check back on Tuesday for all new stuff here at Dead End Horror. And one more time, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

I AM A POET AND I BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW IT! By: SASHA SLAUGHTER

Hey there!! Sasha Slaughter here with you wonderful creeps for the final time this week. I'm going to be doing something a bit different for your reading pleasure. As some of you may or may not know, my speciality is actually poetry. I'm not a published poet for nothing kiddies! So I figured why not show you what I do best! I wrote a few poems and I'll be posting them today! YAY!!! And as you can see, yes, Zane is at it again with his foul mouth and naked corpses. Always lowering our standards but I know you all LOVE it. He's good. Trust me! Ok, so it's poetry time!!

Dark Side

Burning, bleeding,
screaming, crying,
smelling the rotting flesh of those who are dying.
I didn't think I had it in me,
I didn't know it would go this far,
theres so much death around me,
and I don't care who they are.
I can't believe that it came to this,
that it got so out of hand,
the blood is flowing in rivers now,
soaking my feet where I stand.
I stare at the ensuing carnage,
with a wicked grin on my face,
I never want to leave this site of destruction,
I've never felt more in place.
I watch the deadly frenzy,
so content with what I seem to have done,
I lost the battle for sanity within myself,
it seems that my dark side has won.

Sharp Edge

If I told you I didn't think about it,
that would be a lie,
You ask me all of these questions,
demanding to know why.
I don't think I could explain it,
the thin red lines to vivid in my mind,
you're getting impatient with me,
I can see it in your eyes.
How can I explain it?
Making you know what I feel,
the twisted pleasure that I seek,
the things I don't want to be real.
How do I describe it?
from the tortured place in my mind,
as I hide the depths of my soul I pray you'll never find.
The sharp edge calls to me,
it's playing a sick little game,
I stopped a long time ago,
but how does it remember my name?

There is no light, only darkness.

They say that when you are close to death you see a light,
I've been there before and I know that they aren't right.
There was only darkness in my mind,
visions of what could have been,
memories I couldn't seem to find.
There was only darkness in that fluorescent lit room,
pain and sickness,
feelings of impending doom.
The blood was flowing freely,
dripping on the floor,
my thoughts were getting hazy,
as I didn't think I could bleed anymore.
I lie there in a stupor,
unable to move,
hoping I'd get another chance at this life,
because I had something to prove.
The blood was everywhere around me,
and I thought I had nothing more to give,
and then they told me it would be ok,
they said that I would live.

So there you have it. A bit morbid maybe, but thats what I do best. Hope you enjoyed them and if you're lucky someday soon I might write some more poetry for your reading pleasure. Thanks for stopping by Dead End Horror. Check back next week for all new stuff and quite possibly, even lower standards!

FRANKENSTEIN by: Anonymous

This awesome poem was given to me by a great friend. I have their permission to post it however, I forgot to ask them if I could use their name. So I'm publishing this bad boy under anonymous. I just want to make it clear that neither Sasha or I wrote this. (Shit, I couldn't write a poem to save my ass.) So no more talk, here's the poem, "FRANKENSTEIN."

I saw the black,

the white,

the grays

in the stills

and the partial clips,

you throw weight to the world.

And then I recognized...

Frankenstein

incarnate.

It was no horror

to turn away from

holler, shriek or shudder

quite the opposite

let me take a closer look...

interesting!

Frankie-baby!!!

Made up of spare parts

and demanding centers-

of attention.

Bits of limbs from here and there,

mared and divorced from their origins.

Late night grave robbing's bring about

plenty of natural charged electricity.

The monster doesn't want a bride.

They're too demanding,

and frightful in upkeep.

It's the wamth of a human-

being

a truer friend he needs.

One that will take all the puzzle pieces

and keep them safe in a locket,

next to a warm beating heart.

Till it's time-

to show Frank the culmination.

Lay 'em all out

on a table-

connecting the channels,

filling the holes,

and turning the keys,

to the bigger picture.

Honest and unfettered,

without any mad scientist potion

or monster mash.

Save him from burning fire,

and quell the internal combustion

to fully cognizant...

genuinely alive.

All talents realized-

The real true

bona-fide!
