YO HO! IT'S HORROR ON THE GO! By: ZOMBIE ZANE

Heya Dead End Horror fans that like to get naked and run around the mall. What’s good? Did anybody catch the New York Giant game last night? My Big Blue finally got their first win! Thank God! We looked kinda shitty in the first half but turned it around and had a pretty good showing. But anyway, not a sports blog so I’ll cut the sports shit. How about we get to today’s shit, yes?

Okay, so like most of yous have an Ipod or smart phone or something, yes? Cool. So in lieu of that, today’s post is gonna be all about the cool horror shit you can find on itunes for free. I’m gonna be telling you about some cool-ass podio books, and some cool-ass radio programs you can download. Neato mosquito, yes?  What’s not to like about horror on the go?

First up, is this podcast I stumbled on about a year ago. It’s called, “The Horror.” Now what this is, is a podcast dedicated to old time horror radio. Ya know, like back in the day how there was no TV, yes? Well, the radio was the TV. Ya follow? Anyway, different radio networks would air these horror broadcasts. I’m talking shit like, “Lights Out,” “Quiet Please,” “The Hermit” and “The Witches Tale” just to name a few. These are really cool shows! So nostalgic!

Like I said, I stumbled across this podcast a year or so ago and I download it every week. The new episodes come out every Wednesday and Saturday. And there is also a HUGE archive section that you can download shit from as well. So if you dig old-time horror movies, than give this podcast a listen. Even if you don’t, check it out anyway. It’s cool.

One more thing...Some of the audio quality is a bit rough, but it’s not bad enough to fuck up the experience of old school horror, ya know? You can find this on Itunes, go to the podcast page and type in, “The Horror.” You’ll find it there. You can also go to relcicradio.com and find it there as well. It’s all free so after you read this, go over there and download some shit.  Just click on the link below: It should take you right to it.

                                                                    The Horror

Some other cool shit you gotta check out can be found on podiobooks.com This is one cool bastard of a site. There’s ton of free horror podiobooks on there! I’m gonna give you a list of the stuff that I’ve listened to and highly recommend. Would I shit you? You’re my favorite turd. Again, just click on the link below and you'll get to podiobooks. See how nice and helpful I can be?

                                                                       Podiobooks

And here's the stuff I've listened to from podiobooks...

"All Kinds of Things Kill" by Robert R. Best. (It’s 9 short horror stories. And they all rock.)

"Infected" by Scott Sigler....It’s about a disease that turns people into raving lunatics. AWESOME!

"Contagious", also by Scott Sigler...The follow up to “Infected.”

“Harvey” by Phil Rossi...This is one kick ass story about a small town and it’s scary little secret.

Anyway, there’s some cool shit to get you started. Like I said, I’ve listened to all the above mentioned and they all kick ass.

One more thing I wanna tell you about before you go and start downloading. Another item you should check out is a drabble novel by Jake Bible. It’s called “Dead Mech” and that also can be found on itunes.  Go to the podcast page and you’ll find it there. It’s a zombie/sci-fi kinda deal. It’s free and for sure worth a download. I listened to this a while back and really enjoyed it so go and check it out.

Well, I guess that’s all the news that’s’s fit to print. Ya got some good horror on the go to download and I know that you’re anxious to get to it. But before you go, stop by and visit the busty Sasha Slaughter. She’s just busting with good stuff and she wants to share it with you.

So, until tomorrow, take care, stay a-scared, and I am out! Peace peace and free horror grease!
